Realme has announced that it will add an Indian event to its date for the X50 Pro debut's live-stream from Madrid, Spain. This new show will take place on 14:30, February 24, 2020, or about 30 minutes before the European stream starts. This phone will be the OEM's first top-end 5G device on either occasion.

Realme had planned a live launch event for its X50 Pro, an imminent flagship-grade phone with both the Snapdragon 865 SoC and X55 5G modem. However, as this show was to take place in association with MWC 2020 in Barcelona, it has regrettably been cancelled, as has indeed the entire conference.

Therefore, the OEM has organized a live-stream to be broadcast from Madrid, Spain on the same day (February 24, 2020), which prospective attendants can watch from wherever they are free from the risk of the 2019 coronavirus outbreak.

Now, Realme has added a (nearly) simultaneous companion event, in which the X50 Pro will be launched in the Indian market. This show will take place in New Delhi, and will introduce the device as the country's first 5G phone. Therefore, it will be particularly interesting to see how it gets priced in INR.

In other X50 Pro news, its maker has hyped it further by revealing that its quad rear cameras will pack a 20x zoom function. In addition, this device, like its non-Pro variant, will have a dual punch-hole selfie camera; however, unlike the base model, one of these lenses will be of a 32MP resolution. Finally, Realme has also leaked the new phone's color options: it will come in either "Rust Red" or "Moss Green".
