Realme fans may be excited for the launch of the X50, as it will be the brand's first ever phone with 5G, and will have up-to-date specs such as a dual punch-hole camera to boot. Now, however, its maker has reportedly announced an additional variant for the new phone. This Pro model will feature next year's premium Snapdragon silicon.
Clearly, Realme has announced this now to avoid buyer remorse on the part of X50 customers who would have liked more of a flagship experience. Therefore, consumers now have the time to decide which variant they want, keeping in mind of course that the Pro is likely to be much more expensive. On this note, the phone is, like its sibling, also destined for dual-band 5G.
In any case, the newly vanilla X50 should be a compelling enough option in its own right. It is slated to run on the 765G, one of the first ever Snapdragon processors to come with on-board 5G. To date, it is not clear when this ground-breaking phone will be released. However, Realme would be well advised to do so soon, as it could then say it has launched the world's first device with this new chipset.
