The Realme X50 is slated to be this OEM's first 5G device, powered by the Snapdragon 765G processor. The company has just announced that it will be unveiled in full on January 7, 2020. It will apparently do so alongside a second variant.

Realme has announced that its milestone X50 5G phone has an official launch date. It is set for January 7, 2020. Furthermore, the brand has revealed that it will be unveiled alongside a second version of this same phone. As this one was referred to as "Lite", it is unlikely to be the Pro variant, a subsequent planned release with the flagship Snapdragon 865 processor.

The base X50, on the other hand, may be the world's first phone to launch with the new Snapdragon 765G SoC. Realme has also recently divulged that the chipset will render its upcoming phone capable of using 5G and Wi-Fi at the same time. This smart connectivity management may be intended to grant the user the best speeds possible at any given time.

Realme's latest teasers also show that the X50 will launch in 2 colors: shades of black or green. Furthermore, this phone is touted to rock a dual punch-hole selfie camera. It is also slated to support the super-fast VOOC 4.0 charging standard found in the flagship-level X2 Pro.
