More performance and a very good display. Lenovo's ThinkPad P51 is a full-fledged mobile workstation with a 15-inch display, powerful Xeon quad-core processor and a professional graphics card from Nvidia. The 4K screen in particular convinced in the review.

Convertible Powerhouse. The Lenovo Yoga line has long been the leader in the 2-in-1 notebook market. With the redesigned Yoga 720, the Chinese manufacturer looks to expand that dominance. Can the 15-inch model be flexible enough for consumers, or will it snap under pressure?

Tiny Pascal spin-off! With the launch of last year´s new Pascal generation, Nvidia stirred up the high-end segment of graphics cards and bit by bit added mid-range and now entry-level products. The Nvidia GeForce GT 1030 by Zotac offers a low-profile PCB and 2 GB of GDDR5 memory. The question this review is about to answer: Is this GPU branded for use in a living-room PC or can it be actually suitable for gaming?

Slender gamer. Acer's mobile 17.3-inch gaming notebook is capable of running all current games smoothly. The system is well-equipped and offers a decent selection of ports. Particularly interesting are the notebook's 4k display and its eye-tracking system.

Iterative improvement. The GS73VR walks a delicate line between power and portability by packing NVIDIA's Pascal GPUs into a thin chassis late last summer. Now that a Kaby Lake option is available, are Intel's 7th generation chips worth the cost to upgrade the recent redesign of MSI's 17.3-inch thin-and-light?

Ample performance! Lenovo plants a very strong CPU combined with a dedicated GPU into a 14-inch business laptop. This combination, which Lenovo already presented last year, is slightly unusual. You can find out in our detailed review whether the weaknesses of the predecessor were reduced or completely removed.

Bulky. Asus equips the G752VS with a 120 Hz panel including Nvidia's G-Sync support. The powerful hardware equipment manages smooth frame rates in all modern games.

Kaby Lake upgrade. Acer's gaming racer runs all current games smoothly on the Full HD display. The features are also appealing: IPS display, NVMe SSD, HDD, 16 GB RAM, and Thunderbolt 3.

Whisperer in disguise.Acer’s 17-inch aluminum multimedia machine surprised us with its unexpectedly quiet gaming qualities. Is the 699-Euro ($800) laptop worth it despite its drawbacks?

Sweet spot. Asus typically tweaks the different iterations of their gaming notebooks by using different GPU solutions. Has the Taiwanese manufacturer hit a sweet spot with the GL753VE and its GTX 1050 Ti?

Made for gaming. Acer’s current 17-inch series, known as Nitro, has received a CPU and GPU performance upgrade. The V17 Nitro thus performs very well while at the same time being moderately quiet. In addition, Acer has scrapped the optical drive but included nice gimmicks, such as Tobii eye-tracking.

Inexpensive gamer. Acer's inexpensive gaming notebook displays all the latest computer games smoothly. The device is available for just under £800 (~$1035) in the UK. It is equipped with a Kaby Lake quad-core processor, a GeForce GTX 1050 GPU and both an SSD and HDD.

4K Gaming. The Acer Predator series stands for classical gaming notebooks, which – in contrast to some of their slim siblings – are purely trimmed for performance. After we tested the Skylake version of the Predator 17 in September of 2016, now the Kaby-Lake model, which is similarly built on the outside, must prove itself.

Snazzy. With the ZenBook UX3410UQ, Asus delivers a sub-notebook in the 13.3-inch format that brings a 14-inch display. The computer scores with good features and a long battery life.

Entry-level Nitro. Acer's 17.3-inch laptop offers good overall performance, decent emission levels, and a well-thought-out ports configuration. Unlike its predecessors, it does not include an optical drive anymore. Our review unit also did not include a Windows license.

A fair deal. With its latest TravelMate P658-G2 top model, Acer is certainly bringing out the big guns: SSD/HDD combo, LTE modem, 16 GB of RAM. All that comes in addition to low operating noise, decent battery life, and a three-year warranty.

Workstation with gaming roots. MSI offers mobile workstations based on its gaming laptops for quite a while now. The WE72 is a new 17-inch system, but is the implementation of a professional graphics card sufficient to satisfy demanding customers?

Slim and powerful. After the successful Aero 14, Gigabyte presents its next high-end notebook with a stylish design. Once again, the Aero 15 is attractive thanks to its slim design and long battery runtimes. Learn in this review how the device compares to its competitors from Acer, Dell, MSI, and Razer.

Pumped up. Is premium getting even better? Nvidia’s current Pascal GPU didn’t make it into the new Surface Book but Microsoft managed to fit a Maxwell chip under the hood that should offer plenty of performance. Or does it?

Bigger, faster, louder. It's not often that a notebook gains weight and girth in successive generations. In this case, the new Alienware 17 R4 utilizes the extra space wisely for an overall stronger experience that more than makes up for the added mass.

High Resolution. In our recently published extensive test, the Lenovo ThinkPad T570 could mostly convince us. However, as in the previous generation, the Full HD display gave reason for complaint. In this test update, we will see whether the 4K-display variant can remedy the weakness of the more affordable configuration.
