The new P40 Pro perfectly illustrates Huawei's crisis in the western markets. It offers a strong hardware package and features what is likely to be the best smartphone camera, but it lacks the blessing of the US government. Microsoft has already tried and failed to create its own platform. Can the Chinese manufacturer do better?

Chromebooks are typically seen as cheap pseudo-laptops that are only fit for typing notes and browsing the web. While that was certainly the case years ago, Chromebooks and Chrome OS have rapidly matured over the past few years. Modern Chromebooks are capable machines, and while Chrome OS still has its limitations, the devices are more than glorified web browsers. Case in point: Chromebooks are now able to competently game, though there are still some caveats.

Apple’s new iPad Pro is here and, as usual, there is at least an element of controversy surrounding its launch. If it isn’t claims of Bendgate 3.0, it is the classic fanboy angst caused by our revelation that the A12Z powering the new iPad is a re-binned A12X with its 8th GPU enabled.
