Huawei expands the EMUI 10.1 rollout for the P30 Pro, P30, and Huawei Mate 20 X 5G
Huawei unveiled EMUI 10.1 months ago and has slowly but steadily been sending out the update to its lineup of phones. The P30, P30 Pro, and Mate 30 Pro received the update a long time ago across Europe, and the next device on the list is the Mate 20 X 5G.
Owners of the Huawei Mate 20 X 5G in Europe are now confirming receipt of the EMUI 10.1 update. The Mate 20 X 5G is typically the last phone in its series to receive updates and that trend continues here. The Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro already got the EMUI 10.1 update a while ago, for example. The update for the Mate 20 X 5G bears the software version designation "10.1.0.215" and weighs a muscular 4.37 GB.
Huawei has now also started sending out the EMUI 10.1 update to owners of the P30 and P30 Pro in South Africa. The update comes with the version number "10.1.0.126" and weighs in at 4.53 GB. Similar updates are also rolling out to the two phones around the world, with owners in North Africa, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Middle East also getting their fair shares of EMUI 10.1 and all its features.
