A few days ago, Huawei had listed thirteen devices that were eligible for the EMUI 10.1 update. The list appeared incomplete as many popular phones, such as the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro, were missing from it. The company has now put out a longer, more comprehensive list of Huawei and Honor smartphones eligible to receive the software.
Some of the noteworthy additions include the Huawei Nova 6, Nova 6E, Nova 5Z, Nova 5i Pro, and Enjoy 10S. The company's two foldable tablets, the Huawei Mate Xs and Mate X are also on the list. Just when will the global versions of these smartphones (and foldables) receive EMUI 10.1 remains to be seen. We already have a rough idea about its European rollout, which has begun for some devices.
The previous list was missing a lot of Honor smartphones. The new one adds a host of other Honor devices such as the Honor V30, Honor V30 Pro, Honor V20, Honor Magic 2, Honor 20s, Honor 9X, 9X Pro, and the Honor 20 Youth Edition. The update will arrive on these devices in the form of Magic UI 3.1. Refer to the attached image (in Chinese) to check if your device is on the list.
Looking at the image, it is very likely the Chinese roadmap for the EMUI 10.1 rollout. Usually, the software makes its way to global versions of Huawei and Honor phones a few weeks after. If your device isn't on the list, you'll still receive the update based on Huawei's discretion. However, Huawei is notorious for leaving some of its older devices in the lurch quite often.
