Alleged list of devices eligible for the EMUI 11 update surfaces online
It is quite early to start talking about EMUI 11, considering that many phones are yet to receive EMUI 10 and EMUI 10.1. Furthermore, it is unlikely that Huawei will unveil it before Google officially releases Android 11 for Pixels. It usually happens in August or September, so we may have to wait until after that to get our first look at what EMUI 11 has in store. Additionally, a company executive has stated that the update would start hitting the airwaves in August 2020.
A list has surfaced online that seemingly lists all the devices that will receive the EMUI 11 update first. It includes flagships such as the Huawei P30, P30 Pro, Mate 30, Mate 30 Pro, and the Mate X. Other smartphones include the Huawei Nova 6 5G, Nova 5T, and Nova 5z. The list also has some Honor phones eligible for the Magic UI 4.0 update, including the Honor V30 Pro, Honor V20, Honor 20 Pro, and Honor 9X Pro. Refer to the attached image for a complete list of devices.
A cursory glance at all of the devices mentioned above reveals that they were launched in 2019. It is hardly surprising that they're first in line for the EMUI 11 update. We can expect more devices to join the list as time passes.
