Presumed Redmi K30 Ultra image shared by Lu Weibing offers a teasing glimpse at the supposed MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ powered smartphone
Redmi chief and Xiaomi executive Lu Weibing has been teasing yet another device on his official Weibo account. The latest image posted by the man in the know is arguably one of his most enigmatic (and blurriest) yet, as it reveals nothing but the rear of a smartphone with the Redmi brand name emblazoned on it. However, it at least confirms Redmi has a new smartphone ready and many believe it to be the Redmi K30 Ultra.
Unfortunately, the image neither confirms nor denies the possibility that it is the Redmi K30 Ultra on show. But the smartphone appears to have the potential to shake things up in the affordable flagship market if it can destroy the competition with an unassailable price-performance ratio. When you consider the Redmi K30 Ultra is expected to sport a MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chip and may even have something to do with the Xiaomi 120 W charger that’s been doing the rounds lately, taking on the usual rivals shouldn't be that much of an enterprise.
Other components or specifications linked to the Redmi device in the blurred image that might be an upcoming Redmi K30 Ultra include a 64 MP main camera sensor and perhaps, unsurprisingly, as it is expected to be a top-end member of the Redmi K30 lineup then there will be a full front screen on show while selfie camera duties are fulfilled by a pop-up solution. If the Redmi K30 Ultra ends up with all these high-end features and is priced at the perfect point, then it will undoubtedly contribute to the incredible sales success the Redmi K30 range has already enjoyed.
