Much has been said about OnePlus' upcoming mid-range phone, the OnePlus Nord. The OnePlus Nord is set to launch later this month, and most major details of the phone have already been revealed. It appears, however, that the OnePlus Nord may not be the only mid-range phone OnePlus has on the cards.
Earlier today, a new OnePlus device appeared on Geekbench with the model number "BE2028". This isn't the Nord we're used to, though, as that phone typically bears the model designation "AC2003". While both carry the "litto" motherboard tag, the OnePlus Nord is typically clocked at 1.80 GHz; this new phone is clocked at 1.71 GHz. In addition, the new phone is listed with 6 GB of RAM, versus 12 GB on the OnePlus Nord.
According to popular tipster Digital Chat Station, this device is yet another OnePlus phone in the works, and one that will be powered by the Snapdragon 690. Perhaps, a OnePlus Nord Lite of some sort? The OnePlus Nord will bear an MSRP under US$500 but this phone is expected to be even cheaper, possibly by up to CNY 1,000 (US$140).
