The OnePlus Nord moved one step closer to being released today as the company put it up for its initial pre-order. OnePlus did not confirm how many units it made available to order. However, our German-speaking colleagues reported that the stock was exhausted within a minute.
There are complaints of multiple people being unable to pre-order the device. According to several comments on the @oneplus.nord Instagram page, people were unable to place a pre-order even with the device in their baskets.
Today's event is not the only chance to pre-order the OnePlus Nord, though. OnePlus will host additional pre-order events on July 8 and July 15. Both will commence at 10:00 CEST. The event on July 8 will be a "Limited Pre-order", while pre-orders will be available for 24 hours on July 15.
There are plenty of unknowns about the OnePlus Nord, not least its design. However, OnePlus has now confirmed that the device will feature a Snapdragon 765G processor and 5G connectivity. Additionally, the company claims that the OnePlus Nord will have a "flagship-level camera" for under US$500. There is no word on an actual release date yet, though.
