Dell is equipping the XPS 15 7590 with different heatsinks depending on the configuration you buy

Contrary to Dell's service manual, not all XPS 15 7590 machines come with the same heatsink. Only the Core i9 models appear to have full VRM cooling, with Dell equipping the other SKUs with a slightly lesser cooler. As its predecessors demonstrated, all XPS 15 need active VRM cooling, so why the penny-pinching Dell?

The Eve V. (Source: Eve)

What really happened to the Eve V? Its manufacturer finally explains itself

The Eve V was once hailed as a 'Surface Pro killer', as it offered a worthy alternative to this 2-in-1 (on paper at least) at a low price compared to that of the Microsoft product. However, its manufacturer (also called Eve) ran into difficulty due to supply issues that delayed shipments for many users. This OEM now claims to have resolved these problems.

87% Schenker XMG Core 17 (Core i7-9750H, GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, 144-Hz Display) Tongfang GK7CP6R Laptop Review

Unassuming gamer. The hardware of the Schenker XMG Core 17 brings all the current games smoothly to the matte 17.3-inch screen (144 Hz, FHD, IPS). This notebook can be configured very individually. For example, it offers space for up to three storage units (2x M.2-2280, 1x 2.5 in) and can handle up to 64 GB of working memory. In addition, the BIOS allows undervolting of the CPU and iGPU. While the notebook does not show any huge weaknesses, we could complain about the lack of a Thunderbolt-3 port.

Forsaken by the screen. The Lenovo ThinkPad T590 is a larger version of the popular ThinkPad T490. The bigger chassis offers some advantages and the ThinkPad T590 is the lightest 15.6-inch ThinkPad of the T series so far. Unfortunately, it is worse than its smaller sister model in one key aspect.

Based on historical evidence from Razer's 2017-2018 chargers melting or catching fire and the fact that the 2019 Razer Blade Pro's adapter is even hotter, I believe it may be prudent for the Singapore-based company to consider a recall — at least perhaps for adapters from their 2017-2018 Blade and Blade Pro systems.

Version 3.0.7 or newer addresses this vulnerability, so check to make sure your version is up-to-date.
