Microsoft’s next major update to Windows 10 will land in May. The new update brings some useful features to users including Cloud reset as well as the much anticipated DirectX 12 Ultimate with improved raytracing support.

Lenovo gets super serious with gamers by offering easy overclocking and voltage adjustments, vapor chamber cooling, surface temperature probes, 10th gen Core i9 CPUs, and the brand new GeForce RTX 2080 Super Max-Q.

If the new Legion laptops are asking for too much, then the affordable IdeaPad can still net users the benefits of a 10th gen Intel CPU and the brand new GeForce GTX 1650 Ti without cracking the $1000 mark.

HP says the ultra-thin 15.6-inch workstation will be the fastest in its size class per unit volume when it launches this August. It will also be the first mobile workstation to incorporate recycled plastic retrieved from oceans to promote sustainability.

Will the new Nvidia GeForce Super Max-Q GPUs be any relevant in the laptop space? There isn't a lot of room and some performance overlap could be inevitable based on our benchmarks on almost 100 different GeForce RTX laptops already in the market.

HP is bringing 45 W Renoir processors to its OMEN 15 laptops. Spotted on benchmarking websites and support documentation, the 15-en0xxx will offer at least either the Ryzen 5 4600H or Ryzen 7 4800H. Multiple NVIDIA GPUs are likely in the pipeline too, with the GTX 1660 Ti having already been confirmed.

Simply NUC is trying its hand at 15.6-inch laptop models with the latest SNUC Book lineup developed in collaboration with Intel. Users can choose to add up to 64 GB of RAM, up to 4 TB of M.2 storage and may go with either a GTX 1660 Ti or an RTX 2070 Max-Q GPU. All variants are powered by Intel's i7-9750H CPU and come with a Thunderbolt 3 connector.

The 14-inch ZenBook Duo UX481 will essentially be a miniaturized version of the larger 15.6-inch ZenBook Pro Duo released last year. It will run on a Core i7-10510U CPU with the promise of up to 22 hours of battery life despite having two individual screens.

Be prepared for lots of Core i7-10750H and Ryzen 7 4800HS comparisons soon. The MSI GP75, GE75, GS75 and more with Intel 10th gen H-series CPUs are available for pre-order with the same ship date as the competing AMD Ryzen 7 4800HS.

NVIDIA is bringing its Turing architecture to its GeForce MX series, an example of which has now appeared on 3DMark. Sporting a 540 MHz base clock and 2 GB of GDDR6 VRAM, the possible GeForce MX450 is based on the TU117 GPU, the same found in the GTX 1650 and GTX 1650 Max-Q.

The refreshed RTX 2060 / 2070 laptop GPUs have slightly higher clocks compared to the original Max-P versions and they feature similar hardware optimizations from the Super SKUs, including lower-voltage GDDR6 VRAM and improved current regulators. On average, these GPUs should provide at least 7% higher performance compared to the original Max-P models.

We still have much to learn about Intel's Gen12 GPUs, but it turns out that Intel published information about the Xe-HP architecture in January. Spotted by @KOMACHI_ENSAKA in open-source documentation, the Xe-HP architecture will be the basis of workstation and high-end GPUs.

Lenovo has finally admitted that the X1 Extreme Gen 2 has a GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q GPU, not the full GTX 1650 that it has been advertising the laptop as having in some regions. Albeit tacitly and over six months late, it is encouraging to see Lenovo finally correct its mistake.

Having given 77 of 200 units away to fans, NVIDIA does not plan to sell the RTX 2080 Ti Cyberpunk 2077. However, several have appeared online and are fetching prices upwards of US$6,152. Act now if you want an over-priced piece of gaming history.

The refreshed EON15-X gaming and NS-15 workstation laptops from Origin PC now come with a choice between Ryzen 5 3600, Ryzen 7 3700X and Ryzen 9 3900 SKUs with up to 32 GB of DDR4-2666 RAM, up to an RTX 2070 Max-Q GPU and up to 6 TB of storage.

A slide from Asus has revealed that the manufacturer believed there would be an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Super Mobile GPU coming from the graphics card company. However, even though there is a GeForce RTX 2080 Super Mobile part and a GeForce RTX 2070 Super Mobile GPU, it appears that there are no further plans for a 2060 variant at the moment.

Clevo has upgraded its barebones designs to feature the new Comet Lake-H and RTX 20 Super Mobile offerings. The new designs in the PB50 and PB70 series feature CPU options up to the Core i9-10880H and GPU options up to the RTX 2070 Super Mobile with some SKUs offering G-Sync displays. OEMs based on Clevo designs such as Schenker have already made available laptops powered by the latest Intel and NVIDIA offerings with more variants set to be available in the coming months.

It appears that Nvidia’s RTX cards are enjoying increased adoption rates among gamers if Steam’s results for its March Hardware & Software Survey are anything to go by. The top eight video cards by usage in terms of percentage share change are all from Nvidia and five of them are GeForce RTX 20 series cards. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 led the pack with +0.53% change.

Bemused why AIBs are now releasing GDDR6 versions of the GTX 1650? Well, NVIDIA has the answer, and its reasoning suggests that it has forgotten that it released the GTX 1650 SUPER.

Lenovo will allegedly introduce Legion R7000 / R7000P gaming laptops powered by AMD's Renoir APUs up to the Ryzen 7 4800H SKU. Some improvements include DDR4-3200 RAM, double NVMe M.2 slots and 80 Wh+ batteries, but there are some downsides too, like the inclusion of displays with 120 Hz refresh, 45% NTSC color and high response times.

MSI announced new laptops such as the GS66 Stealth, GE66 Raider, and Creator 17 at CES 2020 and has now detailed their full specifications. MSI is also upgrading the its entire gaming and creative product lineup with the latest Intel 10th gen Comet Lake-H and NVIDIA RTX 20 Super Mobile offerings. All laptops will be available for shipping from April 15.

Recently, a Dell XPS 17 9700 listing surfaced on Userbenchmark indicating that Dell would finally bring back the 17-inch form factor to the XPS lineup. The XPS 17 9700 in this listing is indicated as being powered by the Core i7-10750H processor and 32 GB of RAM. While there's no discrete GPU mentioned, it is likely that the XPS 17 9700 will feature at least a GTX 1660 Ti or, if Dell is benevolent enough, an RTX 2060 Mobile option as well.

The new Predator Triton 500 models will be powered by i7 and i9 Comet Lake-H CPUs coupled with up to 32 GB of RAM and up to 2 TB of NVMe SSD storage, plus GPU options topping with the RTX 2080 Super Max-Q. The budget-friendly Nitro 5, on the other hand, will be powered by i5/i7 Comet Lake-H CPUs, and will only support GPUs up to the RTX 2060.

The 7i will most likely be powered by Comet Lake-H Core i7 CPUs and will feature the latest RTX 2000 Super GPUs, while the 5i will pack Comet Lake-H Core i5 CPUs and up to an RTX 2060 GPU. Both variants will get G-Sync displays plus a n exclusive feature developed in collaboration with Nvidia, which allows for a more efficient battery management.

As if Nvidia's GeForce RTX lineup couldn't be more convoluted, be prepared for yet another subcategory of GeForce Super GPUs within the existing subcategory of GeForce Max-Q GPUs.

Asus has announced the ROG Strix SCAR 17 laptop that can be configured with either an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER or RTX 2080 SUPER mobile GPU and features Intel’s new i9-10980HK processor. The gaming laptop also offers users ROG Boost for additional performance, and it will be configurable with up to a 300 Hz display. Prices start at €1,899 (~US$2,121) in Germany.

Gigabyte will be "Redefining Gaming Notebooks" as one of the first OEMs out of the gate with Core i7-10750H, Core i7-10875H, and unlocked Core i9-10980HK options later this month. Comparisons to the competing AMD Ryzen 4000 series, which will also be shipping out in the coming weeks, should prove to be interesting.

Had your fill of the GTX 16 series yet? Well, Gigabyte has gone and released a GDDR6 version of the GTX 1650. No, that is not a joke. The cards, as there are two of them, feature 4 GB of VRAM running at 12 Gbps. Presumably based on the TU117, the cards support 896 CUDA cores and a 128-bit memory bandwidth. Discovered by @momomo_us, the GDDR6 versions of the GTX 1650 are available to purchase now. Expect other AIBs to follow suit, too.

The XPS 15 looked great back in 2016, but there's no question that it has grown a bit stale since then. A 16:10 redesign would help revitalize the series and new leaks appear to confirm just that.

Quietly unveiled at CES 2020, the GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q has made its retail debut a full year later than its Turing Max-Q siblings. It remains to be seen how OEMs will adopt the GPU as it performs quite closely to the GTX 1660 Ti but with the added benefit of RT and tensor cores.

Users can choose to equip the XMG Apex 15 with more down-to-earth specs like a Ryzen 3600 CPU, 8 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM, 256 GB SATA 3 SSD and an RTX 2060, or could go all in with specs including the Ryzen 9 3950X, up to 64 GB of RAM, up to 6 TB of storage and an RTX 2070 GPU. Unlike similar Intel desktop-replacement models, these AMD laptops are a fair bit lighter and require less power.

Rumour has it that NVIDIA has delayed the release of its GeForce RTX 3000 GPUs until September. Citing the cancellation of GTC 2020 and the re-scheduling of Computex 2020 as reasons, NVIDIA apparently planned to release its Ampere architecture this month. This may be nothing new though, especially as NVIDIA would struggle to delay something it never formally announced.

Best Buy will be opening pre-orders for the hyped 14-inch AMD-Nvidia gaming laptop at a reasonable price of $1450 USD. The GA401IV configuration will come with 16 GB of RAM and a 1 TB PCIe SSD.

Amazon recently put up an AMD Ryzen 7 4800H and RTX 2060-powered Asus TUF Gaming laptop for the remarkable price of US$1199. This undercuts i7-9750H notebooks and delivers incredible value in the sub-US$1500 price bracket.

The LG 27GN750 is a CES Award-winning monitor of the UltraGear series. Its almost-bezelless IPS panel has a 1 millisecond (ms) response time, has HDR10 and is compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC. The OEM has released it for sale at US$399.

The Asus convertible shines with powerful hardware, a sleek metal chassis, a backlit keyboard, good battery life and a Pantone validated 4K touchscreen display. The latter responds to both fingers and the included Active Pen.

The performance difference between the slowest and fastest GeForce MX150 laptops is startling at roughly 60 percent. The Blade Stealth GeForce MX150 is essentially on par with the more expensive GeForce MX250.

GeForce NOW is NVIDIA's cloud-gaming service. Its streaming library may be bolstered by a new announcement that it will have new titles added by the week going forward. The first batch debuted as a result of this initiative includes Epic Games' Control.

The Pavilion Gaming 15's combination of CPU and GPU is able to display all current PC games smoothly on the 15.6-inch screen. On top of that, it comes with an NVMe SSD, 8 GB of RAM (dual-channel mode) and very good battery life. However, the display is disappointing.

DX 12 apparently allows iGPUs to work in tandem with any kind of dGPU, so Intel is suggesting that only its desktop CPUs can do that, since AMD's desktop processors do not include iGPUs. However, AMD still has APU models, though not as powerful as the desktop chips, but they can easily take advantage of this feature, as well.
