A new challenger has entered the clamshell gaming handheld space. Arriving barely any time after the launch of the Anbernic RG34XX SP, the Powkiddy V90S undercuts its peers on price while still delivering comparable performance and features.

Possibly launching before the summer or even later this month, the Powkiddy V90S looks to challenge the Anbernic RG34XX SP, RG35XX SP and the Miyoo Flip with various enhancements over the original Powkiddy V90.

The Anbernic RG34XX SP is set to officially launch later this week. While Anbernic decided to mimic the Miyoo Flip V2 with its latest clamshell gaming handheld, a leak has revealed the company's original intentions for its Game Boy Advance SP lookalike.

Anbernic has announced the release date of its next clamshell gaming handheld.
