Acer is introducing several new Aspire A14 AI SKUs at Computex 2025 featuring Intel Lunar Lake and AMD Ryzen AI Krackan Point processors. The new Aspire A14 AI laptops feature an aluminum build and can be configured with up to 32 GB of RAM along with an OLED display option.

Asus currently has the fastest compact gaming laptop on offer in the form of the ROG Zephyrus G14, but the lack of an RTX 5090 is still a disappointment. Can Razer match or perhaps even overtake Asus with the new Blade 14?

The new ECS ultraportables to be showcased at Computex in a few weeks include the UP42AR with Intel Arrow Lake Core Ultra 2 series CPUs, the UP42KP equipped with AMD Krackan Point APUs and the UP42PW packing Snapdragon X Plus SoCs. All models support up to 64 GB DDR5-5600 RAM, 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage and come standard with USB4 / TB4 connectors, fingerprint sensor and microSD card reader.

The Beelink AI Mini is a compact server solution powered by AMD's powerful Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor. Launching later this year, Beelink has already revealed a few details about the AI Mini, including support for clustering via dual 10 Gbps Ethernet connections.

GMKtec is now selling the EVO-X2 freely in the US after opening pre-orders on its retail platform earlier this month. Available exclusively with the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 from the AMD Strix Halo family, the GMKtec EVO-X2 is configurable with up to 128 GB of RAM and packs enough GPU performance to challenge modern laptop GPUs.

The MS-A2 is Minisforum's latest attempt at creating a mini-workstation. Initially sold with AMD's new Ryzen 9 9955HX APU, the Minisforum MS-A2 can also now be picked up with the older but still powerful Ryzen 9 7945HX at a healthy $200 discount before factoring in early launch offers.

The Peladn Y01 has been officially teased in China. At the core, it's a new gaming mini PC with the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395, making it stand as a competitor to the recently launched Strix Halo systems like the GMK EVO-X2.

Minisforumhas revealed its latest Mobile on Desktop (MoDT) motherboard. Arriving later this year as the DeskMini F1FGM, the motherboard will combine AMD's X870 chipset with a powerful Ryzen 9 9955HX processor that Minisforum claims it has overclocked from 55 W to a whopping 160 W.

Aokoze has now released one of the first gaming handhelds that leverages AMD's Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU. Also featuring with OCuLink eGPU connectivity and a 120 Hz VRR display, the Aokzoe A1X packs in a 72.7 Wh battery to rival the Asus ROG Ally X, among other popular Windows gaming handhelds.

Lenovo's 2025 ThinkPads with AMD CPUs are limited to the eight core versions of Zen5 - at least until now. A product listing on Lenovo's Malaysian website suggests that we may soon see the first AMD ThinkPad with twelve CPU cores in the form of the Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 6 AMD, as it is said to feature the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX Pro 370.

A rumour from X says that a future MSI Claw variant might ditch Intel hardware and feature an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme instead.

The Aoostar GT37 is now available to pre-order. While it's slightly better specced than the Minisforum AI370, the new Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 mini PC is more affordable. Its pre-sale price is $879.

AMD is expected to outfit the desktop Zen 6 CPUs with both full-sized Zen 6 cores on the Zen 6 CCDs and low-power Zen 5 LP cores on the I/O die. According to Moore's Law Is Dead, the Zen 5 LP cores boast good performance and super low power consumption.

The GMKtec EVO-X2 has already made its Chinese debut, and the AMD Strix Halo mini PC is now set to be available globally soon. While the company didn't confirm the global price, it shared that the pre-sale will start on April 15, 2025.

The GMKtec EVO-X2 is now official in China, and it's available only in one configuration, which pairs the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 with 128 GB of RAM and 2 TB of storage. Its launch price is CNY 14,999, around $2,060.

Aokzoe has confirmed that it will soon be releasing its first Ryzen AI 9 HX 370-powered gaming handheld. Launching with a 72.7 Wh battery and a 120 Hz display, the Aokzoe A1X also supports OCuLink and USB4 connectivity for a choice of eGPU options.

Another Ryzen 9 9950X3D joins the long line of dead Ryzen 9000 series CPUs that have been reported. The most common factor has been ASRock motherboards, though they are not the only ones allegedly ‘killing’ CPUs.

This year, Razer uses a significantly slimmer case in the Blade 16, even though this requires compromises in some places. The new model looks a bit like a downgrade overall.

Some AMD Ryzen 9 9955X3D benchmarks have been posted online. They include synthetic workloads like Geekbench, Cinebench 2024 and PCMark 10.

The OneXplayer X1 Pro redefines mobile gaming power. With its flexible 3-in-1 functionality as a handheld, tablet and laptop, it surpasses the limits of the Nintendo Switch, although the concept here is also somewhat reminiscent of Nintendo's handheld.

The Ayaneo AM01S may be almost a year old. However, the mini-PC has not received a release of any kind yet. Instead, Ayaneo has now confirmed that the AM01S will be launching with a more powerful AMD APU in the form of the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370.

The AMD Strix Halo mini PC lineup has seen another new addition, the Sixunited AXB35-02. It will be available with up to Ryzen AI Max+ 395, which brings the Radeon 8060S iGPU. The system can also be configured at up to 120 W TDP.

Threadripper 9000 series is said to include a 24-core 9965WX and 32-core 9975WX SKU with 350W TDP. Previous leaks have suggested a 16-core to 96-core spread so there should be at least four SKUs in the series.

EliteBook 8 instead of EliteBook 800: HP's most important business laptop series launches in 2025 with a new name. HP also uses this opportunity to introduce a new design. Additionally, there are many new processor options, including Krackan Point and Lunar Lake.

More systems with the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 are being announced, and gaming handhelds featuring the new Zen 5 APU could debut soon. Before that happens, ETA Prime has shown what the performance of the Radeon 8060S could be like in such devices.

AMD's Strix Halo has finally landed on the mini PC segment, and as revealed earlier this week, GMKtec happens to be the first to unveil one with the Ryzen AI Max+ 395. Of course, the company didn't disclose much about the system yet.

The OmniBook series gets a new flagship convertible with no more Snapdragon options to be found. The updated model integrates new ports, more display options, the latest Lunar Lake and Zen 5 CPUs, and even more colors to choose from.

HP has refreshed its Omen 17 gaming laptop with AMD's Strix/Krackan Point CPUs. They can be paired with up to a GeForce RTX 5070 or users could stick with the included iGPU if needed.

The HP Victus 15 has been refreshed with yet more CPUs from Intel and AMD. They can be combined with a wide range of Nvidia GPUs dating back to the RTX 2050.
