Aoostar has launched the TA95X3D MoDT series in China. It's a new Mobile on Desktop (MoDT) motherboard that can be equipped with up to the AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D, a top-end APU from the Fire Range series that comes with 64 MB 3D V-Cache to offer enhanced gaming performance.
Of course, there's another CPU option for the Aoostar TA95X3D MoDT, the Ryzen 9 9955HX, which is a similarly-configured APU but without the 3D V-Cache. The processor can be paired with DDR5 RAM running at up to 6000 MT/s, but while the company notes that there are two UDIMM memory slots, it didn't specify the maximum support.
Getting back to the motherboard itself, it brings support for a PCIe 5.0 GPU, and there are two Gen 5 SSD slots for high-speed storage solutions (WD_BLACK 1 TB SN8100 curr. $159 on Amazon). Aoostar further highlights that the rear of the motherboard sports a 5G network port, and there's support for 7.1 audio, allowing users to build a versatile setup with the MoDT motherboard.
The back of the Aoostar TA95X3D MoDT also features a decent number of USB ports. To be specific, there are six USB ports, and for display output, the motherboard has one DisplayPort and one HDMI port. There's support for WiFi, and the board features SMA ports on the back.
As for the price, the option with the AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D goes for CNY 4,799, about $673. The configuration with the non-3D 9955HX is a little affordable, with the launch price being CNY 3,799 in China, around $532. Aoostar has yet to reveal when the TA95X3D MoDT series will be available in the global market.
