T raptor. The 2023 version of the Lenovo ThinkPad T14 uses Intel CPUs of the Raptor Lake series. With the new CPUs, the power usage seems to be lower compared to the predecessor, but apart from this, the Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 4 Intel does not seem like a big upgrade.

Magnesium case and LTE. The EliteBook 1040 G10 is the business flagship from HP and a direct competitor to the ThinkPad X1 Carbon from Lenovo. However, the current Core i5 processor from Intel doesn't offer a lot of performance, and the display of our test unit doesn't reach the values specified by the manufacturer.

Freedom of choice. Alienware's gaming notebook provides an extremely flexible hardware configuration. Our test device offers lots of performance (Core i7-13700HX, GeForce RTX 4060) and a decent level of equipment. Battery runtimes, however, are unable to keep pace with the times.

Shimmering lightweight. While hardly weighing 1 kg (~2.2 lb), the subnotebook from LG is very well equipped with the Intel Core i7-1360P, 32 GB of working memory, and OLED display. Aside from the performance, the Gram Style also offers some other qualities. What immediate strikes us, is the case surface that can shimmer in all rainbow colors. And the laptop is also able to operate completely quietly - aside from some strange exception.

AMD's 3D V-Cache now inside a laptop. The ROG Strix SCAR 17 X3D is the first gaming laptop to feature AMD's newest Ryzen 9 7945HX3D processor which, for the first time ever, relies on 3D cache. Additionally, it is fitted with a GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop which runs all modern games smoothly on the device's fast QHD display.

Now with a 16:10 display. Lenovo is updating its inexpensive ThinkPad E14 office notebook with new cases and 16:10 displays. Ryzen 7000 chips from AMD are installed for the processors, which are well-known processors. However, the keyboard has gotten worse.

Distance runner. The Aorus 15 BSF - a QHD gaming laptop - offers good performance (Core i7-13700H, GeForce RTX 4070) with a great selection of features (16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD, 165 Hz panel, Thunderbolt 4). Amazing runtimes complete the setup.

120 Hz and 5G. HP is presenting its best, AMD-equipped business notebook in the new EliteBook 845 G10. The Ryzen 9 Pro 7940HS offers a lot of performance and the EliteBook doesn't have any weakness in other areas either. Only the RAM configuration is not optimal.

Enduring. A Ryzen 5 7535HS, GeForce RTX 4050, USB 4, and a bright 16:10 display (16-inch, WUXGA, 165 Hz, G-Sync) are the highlights of the relatively inexpensive (€1,250) Nitro 16. Under the right conditions, the already very good battery run times of the predecessor further surpassed. This review evaluates the performance and other characteristics of this alternate configuration.

Affordable black box. Lenovo sells their more affordable ThinkPad laptops for business customers as the ThinkPad L series. The ThinkPad L14 Gen 4 AMD is a budget model with AMD - though with Ryzen 7030. The fact that Lenovo does not use Ryzen 7040 does not make the L14 into a bad laptop, but it has some negative consequences.

Business companion. The compact office laptop by Lenovo convinces us with low emissions, long battery life numbers and a 16 inch screen win the work-friendly 16:10 ratio (1,920 x 1,200, IPS, low power). Part of the package are two Thunderbolt 4 ports and a WWAN option.

Featherweight ultrabook. The new Schenker Vision 16 premium ultrabook with a lightweight magnesium chassis has the newest Intel CPUs and a matte WQHD screen with 240 Hz. It is pretty upgradable, as usual with Schenker.

AMD transformation-artist. ThinkPad Yoga is the name of Lenovo's business convertibles. The ThinkPad L series is the affordable enterprise series, which means the Lenovo ThinkPad L13 Yoga G4 AMD is a budget hybrid. With AMD Ryzen 7030U and a new design, this convertible can compete with more expensive models.

Short battery life and less hardware. Lenovo is aiming for the crown in the category of 16-inch multimedia laptops with its new Yoga Pro 9i 16. Its trump card is supposed to be the high-resolution and bright mini-LED panel. However, there are unusual weaknesses in the build quality and, in contrast to the 14-inch model, features such as Advanced Optimus are missing.

Slim and light. A low weight (990 g, ~2.18 lb), slim case (≤ 12.55 mm, ~0.49 in), and bright OLED display (15.6 in, FHD) that is rich in contrast represent the highlights of the LG Gram SuperSlim. Additional positive features include two Thunderbolt 4 ports and a very good battery life.

Economical and extremely quiet! The system manufacturer Bosgame offers a number of modern Mini PCs. In this review, we devote ourselves to the compact Bosgame Mini PC Intel 12th Gen N95 which battled its way through our test course in the guise of an economical office PC. Simply fast. Thanks to an outstanding Intel Core i9, a decent RTX 4060 and an OLED display, the VivoBook Pro 16X leaves no doubt that it is perfectly positioned for image and video editing. The hardware, especially the input devices, is also an excellent fit for a Creator notebook. However, savings have been made in other areas.

Compact class. With the Predator Triton 14, Acer has expanded its range of compact gaming laptops with an additional model. The 14-inch device offers bags of power, (Core i7-13700H, GeForce RTX 4050), a very bright 16:10 aspect ratio display (WQXGA, 165 Hz, G-Sync) and a Thunderbolt 4 port.

RTX 4050 and Advanced Optimus. The new Yoga Pro 9i 14 is Lenovo’s flagship consumer device and packed with features like the extremely bright Mini-LED panel with 165 Hz, a Core i7 processor as well as Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop inside a compact 14-inch chassis. The only problem is the battery runtime, where you will have to make some compromises.

Windows 11 + Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3. Like it or not, Windows ARM is here to stay regardless of all the criticisms. The Robo & Kala TW220 directly targets the Microsoft Surface Pro 9 ARM by offering OLED instead of IPS and a much lower starting price of just US$599

Magnesium and liquid metal. Schenker updates the slim Vision 16 Pro multimedia laptop with current hardware from Intel and Nvidia. The new GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop graphics chip brings a lot of gaming performance to the matte WQHD panel with 240 Hz. Considering the low weight, the maintenance options are also very good.

An economical RTX 4060. The Acer Predator Helios 16 is simultaneously a solid and quiet gaming laptop with many high-end aspects. Thanks to the economical RTX 4060 and its mature cooling system, gaming sessions will not result in sudden deafness despite the potent 16-core CPU. We were also positively surprised by the fast QHD display and although we were not dealing with the mini-LED display variant, its deployment can be found in the key lighting.

The Pro 15 for budget foxes. If you can do without a metal case and a full RGB keyboard, you do not necessarily have to go for the expensive XMG Pro 15. In our test, the XMG Focus 15 is just as performant and only has to take a back seat in few aspects. In return, the base price of the Focus 15 is about €400 less than that of the Pro 15 for practically similar performance.

RTX 4050 for $1,699.99. The new MSI Stealth 14 Studio was presented at the beginning of this year and aside from targeting gamers, the device also aims to speak to users who are searching for great performance within a compact 14-inch case. The Core i7-13700H and GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop's performance has hit the mark, however, the laptop isn't without its flaws: its keyboard and short runtimes, to name a few.
