Honor continues to steadily reveal new information about its upcoming product releases. In the last few days, the company confirmed that it would be hosting a new product launch event on July 12, less than 48 hours after Samsung hosts its next Galaxy Unpacked event. Having also outlined that it would be unveiling the Magic V3, Magic Vs3, MagicPad 2 and MagicBook Art 14 during the same announcement, it then provided a few details about all but the Magic Vs3 in all subsequent Weibo posts.
Now, it has published numerous photos of both the MagicPad 2 and MagicBook Art 14, which we have embedded below. In short, it seems that Honor is targeting recent OnePlus and Apple releases, with its new tablets and laptops, respectively. Specifically, Honor's design and marketing draws comparisons with the OnePlus Pad Pro, which debuted late last month with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset as a more powerful alternative to the existing OnePlus Pad (curr. $479.99 on Amazon).
In a similar vein, Honor appears to be implicitly comparing the MagicBook Art 14 against the MacBook Pro 14. Based on the images below, the former will arrive in two colours, both with Intel Evo processors. However, considering that Honor has scheduled the device's launch for July 12, we can only assume that it will feature Meteor Lake processors, which Intel will soon replace with Lunar Lake-based successors. Consequently, the MagicBook Art 14 will probably be about as powerful as the existing MagicBook Pro 16 that Honor sells globally.
