Despite its compact dimensions, the Asus ExpertCenter PN53 can support multiple monitors and fast network connections. Depending on the model variant selected, cooling is either passive or with a fan.

In its broad product portfolio, Asus also offers compact PC systems and is expanding its range with the ExpertCenter PN43, which is offered both as a barebone and with a hard disk, RAM and a Windows 11 Pro installation. The PC is available with an Intel N97, Intel N100 or Intel N200, so the systems are more for displaying presentations or office tasks than for demanding workloads.

A single M.2 2280 SSD can be installed, which is connected via four PCIe 4.0 lanes. According to Asus, an NVMe SSD of up to 2 TB is supported. Depending on the model variant selected, WiFi 6 or WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 or Bluetooth 5.3 are supported, with Intel modules installed for wireless network connectivity. A wired network connection is always possible via Ethernet with a data transfer rate of up to 2.5 GBit/s. The PN43 can optionally be ordered with a second, fast Ethernet port.

The 166.2 x 119.7 mm large and 33.9 mm high system has two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports in type A on the front as well as two audio connections. DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1 and a configurable port are available at the rear. The configurable port can be ordered as a VGA, an additional HDMI, a USB-C or a COM port. Three USB 2.0 ports are also on board. Two 4K screens can be connected. The PN43 can be mounted on a VESA mount and thus behind a monitor and also protected against theft with a Kensington lock. The power cable can be secured against accidental disconnection.
