New Asus NUC 14 Pro series hits the shelves
The Asus NUC 14 Pro series of mini PCs is now available for purchase. These were announced back in CES 2024, and they feature Intel Meteor Lake processors. The cheapest one is the NUC 14 Pro with Intel Core 3 100U, and it's the only option available with a Raptor Lake CPU. You can get its barebone variant for $394.99.
There are two other configurations available for that model. One of them features Intel Core Ultra 5 125H, and the other comes with Intel Core Ultra 7 155H. The top-end model in the series, the Asus NUC 14 Pro+, bumps it up to the Core Ultra 9 185H, the highest-end processor available in the Meteor Lake series. It's barebone version is currently available at $869.
There are tall versions available for both the NUC 14 Pro. They bring support for a 2.5-inch storage drive. The slim versions have 2280 and 2242 M.2 slots only. Both are PCIe 4.0 (1 TB Samsung 990 EVO curr. $79 on Amazon). The 14 Pro+, on the other hand, doesn't have any tall variants available at the moment. Another thing worth noting is that the official spec sheet suggests that more configurations will be available for the Asus NUC 14 Pro+.
Besides that, both the Asus NUC 14 Pro mini PCs bring a generous selection of ports. Among all are two Thunderbolt 4, one USB 3.2, one USB 2.0, one RJ45, and two HDMI 2.1 ports. For wireless connectivity, both the models have Bluetooth 5.3 and WiFi 6E.
