Asus has shown off its new ExpertCenter PN54-S1 mini-PC. It comes with an AMD Ryzen 200 series chip and supports up to 64 GB of RAM.

Asus has launched a new mini-PC for enterprise users seeking a stable daily driver. As its name suggests, the ExpertCenter PN54-S1 is a watered-down version of the ExpertCenter PN54 mini-PC, which we have already reviewed in detail. At the time of writing, Asus hasn't revealed the cost of the new mini-PC.

The ExpertCenter PN54-S1 can be configured with an AMD Ryzen 7 260, Ryzen 5 220 or Ryzen 5 210 CPU. They're based on AMD's Zen 4 architecture and come with an RDNA 3 iGPU. It can output video to up to four 4K devices. Dedicated GPUs are not supported on this model, which supports up to 64 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and 2 TB of solid-state storage.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7 (or Wi-Fi 6E), Bluetooth 5.4, and two 2.5 Gb/s Ethernet ports. Asus offers a wide range of I/O on the ExpertCenter PN54-S1, including USB 4.0, USB 3.2 Gen Type-A, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, USB 2.0, HDMI 2.1, and DisplayPort 1.4.

The mini-PC only supports Windows 11 Pro and Windows 11 Home. Lastly, the ExpertCenter PN54-S1 measures 130 mm x 130 mm x 34 mm and weighs 0.55 kg. Its design allows for tool-less disassembly and component upgrades. A fingerprint sensor is also present for biometric authentication.
