The Beelink SER5 Max may be a few years old at this point, but it still packs a decently powered AMD Ryzen 7 6800H APU with its Radeon 680M iGPU that's more than capable of running laps around gaming handhelds in a similar price bracket. Paired with 32 GB of RAM, as the SER5 Max is, in this case, it's a handy, compact desktop that is more than capable of handling just about any office or non-specialised productivity workloads at it.
As an early Amazon Prime Day deal, the SER5 has dropped to just $339 on Amazon when equipped with 32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 1 TB PCIe SSD.

The AMD Ryzen 7 6800H features eight Zen 3+ cores, making for a total of 16 threads that max out at 4.7 GHz boost frequency. The Radeon 680M iGPU packs 12 CUs on the RDNA 2 architecture, putting it right around the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti in many of our gaming tests.
We reviewed the Beelink SER5 Pro not too long ago — a nearly identical system — and we found Beelink's package to be overall very competitive. The performance and thermals were particularly impressive given the small footprint. The SER5 Max is designed as an office PC, and its all-black chassis, although with a single red power button on the front, could easily fit into a lounge as a home-theatre PC that pulls double duty as a mini gaming console for family-friendly indie games and e-sports titles. It also comes with a VESA mount if you want to hide the mini PC and its cables on the back of a monitor.
The only major downside when it comes to the Beelink SER5 Max are its ports. Specifically, the inclusion of not one, but two USB 2.0 ports that could easily have been USB 3.1 or higher. The lack of an OcuLink or USB4 port for iGPU connectivity is also disappointing, although the level of performance on offer is still impressive for the relatively low price and more than enough to keep up with something like the Lenovo Legion Go S, which costs $683.86 on Amazon.
