Asus is a well-known brand in the gaming sector, but it’s also active in other markets, including the business segment. With the Asus ExpertCenter PB64, Asus targets professional customers who need to furnish an entire office, for instance. Depending on the configuration, the performance should be sufficient for more than just word processing, as the mini PC is available with an Intel Core Ultra 5 225, Core Ultra 5 235, Core Ultra 5 245 and even a Core Ultra 7 265. Up to 64GB of memory can be installed in two RAM slots. Additionally, up to three storage drives are supported. In addition to two M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 SSDs, the Asus mini PC can also accommodate a 2.5-inch drive with a height of up to 0.28 inches.
The ExpertCenter PB64 measures 6.9 x 6.9 x 1.7 inches and can be hooked up to four monitors at the same time. Therefore, the desktop computer sports two DisplayPort 1.4 ports and one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, which can receive up to 100 watts via USB PD. Furthermore, there’s a single USB 4 port on the front. Depending on the use case, the mini PC can be ordered with another HDMI 2.1 port, DisplayPort 1.4, an additional Ethernet port with 2.5 Gbps or a COM port, which can be used to connect a scale, for example. USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 and Gen 1 ports are also available, as is a 3.5mm audio jack. The PC can be attached to a monitor with a VESA mount as well. The Asus ExpertCenter PB64 has not been listed by regular online retailers thus far.
