Honor 200 Indian launch confirmed by new teaser

After its European launch, the Honor 200 series is set to debut in India soon. As per a teaser put out by Honor on X, the launch will happen "soon". An attached link leads to a landing page on Amazon, indicating it will be Honor's e-commerce platform of choice. Like previous Honor 200 marketing material, the theme is centered around the phone's camera prowess.

Plus, Honor also advertises the Honor 200 series as a phone with minimal bloatware and ads, something that has been plaguing the market for a while, especially in the mid-range segment. However, it isn't clear if Honor plans to launch all three SKUs (Honor 200, Honor 200 Pro, Honor 200 Lite) in India. The last-gen Honor 100 series was never launched in India. Before that, only the Honor 90 and Honor 90 Lite were available for purchase.

Therefore, one can reasonably assume the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Lite will be the only devices of the lot that will launch in India. Then again, the primary difference between the Honor 200 Pro and Honor 200 is limited to a SoC (Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 on the Pro vs Snapdragon 7 Gen 3), an extra 2 MP sensor at the front and a slightly larger screen.
