BMW has just announced the latest addition to its line-up of all-electric vehicles — the BMW i5. Pre-orders for the electric BMW i5 are open, and deliveries are expected to start in October 2023.

Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi Watch 3 Youth Edition, a large smartwatch that is expected to launch globally as the Redmi Watch 3 Lite. The Watch 3 Youth Edition starts at CNY 399 (~US$57) and comes in two colours.

BMW's most recent configuration updates have been revealed. The model updates include a cheaper all-electric, all-wheel-drive i4 xDrive40 to slot in between the eDrive40 and the i4 M50, as well as a single-motor, rear-wheel-drive i7 eDrive50 to complete the i7 line-up at the bottom end.

VIOFO's latest A119 Mini 2 is, as the name suggests, one of the super-compact type of dash-cam that integrates its own rear-facing screen. Mercedez-Benz recently announced the Mercedes-AMG E-Scooter as a smaller step towards its electric future. PNY has confirmed that it has integrated the latest RTX 4000 graphics into new XLR8 Gaming VERTO RGB- and VERTO-series cards. The two new lines will support both the 4060 and 4060 Ti between them, in sizes of 8GB as well as 16GB. Their release will start with those of the Ti 8GB variety later in May 2023.

A new China-exclusive ThinkPad laptop has appeared. The new Lenovo ThinkPad T14p is a rebrand of last year's Lenovo ThinkPad Neo 14, equipped with the newest Intel CPUs and Nvidia GPUs - and the more prestigious ThinkPad T series name.

The Volkswagen ID. Buzz has been out in Europe for a while already, but a recent teaser revealed that a three-row electric VW Bus is coming to the US with an announcement due on June 2. Launching in collaboration with International Day Calendar, the new Type 2 electric bus will pay homage to the original Volkswagen Bus/Kombi/Transporter on VW Bus Day in Huntington Beach, California on June 2.

UGREEN has waded into the Steam Deck docking station game with its take on the 6-in-1 accessory for the handheld console. It features a USB type-C port for up to 100W charging as well as HDMI for external monitor support at up to 4K/60Hz. The OEM has also indicated that this version might also fit the ROG Ally.

The MatePad Air is one of two tablets that Huawei has presented today in its home market. The MatePad Air features a Snapdragon 888 chipset and has a technically impressive IPS display that operates at 2.8K with a 144 Hz native variable refresh rate, among other features.

Huawei has announced a 2023 version of the MateBook E, a 2-in-1 with a built-in kickstand and a detachable keyboard. Firmly a Surface Pro rival, the Huawei MateBook E 2023 features a 12.6-inch OLED display running at 120 Hz, a 42 Wh battery and a choice between two Intel Alder Lake-U series processors.

Nvidia, today, made the RTX 4060 series official. The RTX 4060 series is comprised of three SKUs — RTX 4060 Ti 8 GB, RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB, and the RTX 4060. The RTX 4060 Ti sports a 32 MB L2 cache for an effective 554 GB/s bandwidth and is rated at a 160 W TGP. Pricing starts from US$299 for the RTX 4060, which puts doubts on whether we will get to see an RTX 4050 after all.

HTC has revealed the U23 Pro in its home market, where it is available with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The U23 Pro relies on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, a 4,600 mAh battery, and a 108 MP primary camera, among other features.

Banana Pi is now selling the BPI-Centi-S3, a developer board powered by an ESP32-S3 microcontroller. Available for under US$15, the BPI-Centi-S3 has a 1.9-inch display, a USB 2.0 Type-C port and expansion options.

Although the details regarding the shipment date, hardware setup choices, and prices are still unknown, Minisforum has officially unveiled the Venus UM780 Pro and UM790 Pro mini PCs. The first one sports an AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS, while the other comes with a Ryzen 9 7940HS inside. Both feature a new cooling system.

Peak Design has announced the Micro Clutch hand strap for mirrorless cameras on Kickstarter. The strap aims to supplement the grip on mirrorless camera bodies that have, over time, become rather compact and difficult to hold onto. The grip is made of a chemical resistant hypalon rubber with microfibre padding, and it mounts to both the strap eyelets and an aluminium plate that attached to the camera base.

SmallRig has announced its Cage Kit for the Canon PowerShot V10 mere days after Canon launched its point-and-shoot camera aimed at video creators on the go. Shipping on May 31, the SmallRig kit for the V10 encases Canon's tiny camera in a fibre-reinforced plastic body and affords the diminutive camera a surprising amount of flexibility via its ample accessory and camera mounting options.

Logitech has announced European and UK pricing for the G Cloud, its 7-inch gaming handheld based on the Snapdragon 720G. Despite always having the G Cloud on sale in the US, Logitech has decided to sell the device for about as much as a Steam Deck in Europe and the UK.

NIO and Shell have opened Europe's first EV battery swap station in the Netherlands. The battery swap station is capable of performing 312 swaps per day despite only taking up the same space as a double garage. In contrast, Tesla Superchargers taking up the same area can charge around 40 vehicles in 24 hours.

Syntech has introduced its VR Elite accessory for Meta Quest 2 owners via Amazon. It is rated to enhance comfort and stability while wearing the headset by acting as an extra strap, and also integrates an external battery pack. Accordingly, the 2023 Red Dot Design Award-winning accessory may add up to six hours of extra game-play while providing potentially improved balance and control in headset-based gaming.

Virtual reality (VR) is touted to take a player to new dimensions of gaming - right up until it does it literally and increases the risk of crashing back into real reality, or its very real walls, obstacles and personal possessions, that is. Virtuix claims to be able to solve these problems with a version of its Omni "VR treadmill" for the home, creating a space in which a user can move freely and safely with less danger to or from the non-gaming world.

DJI has announced another drone-related launch event. Billed as a 'flagship upgrade', the new drone is likely a successor to the Matrice 300 RTK that DJI revealed in 2020.

Ford has launched the E-Tourneo Courier, pitching it as a "multi-activity vehicle" with "distinctive SUV-inspired looks." The E-Tourneo Courier is a five-seater minivan with a 100 kW front-wheel-drive electric motor and DC fast charging. Ford's new electric SUV-minivan will be available from 2024 in Europe, but there's no word yet on US availability.

Realme is currently previewing its new Narzo N53 ahead of its debut as the brand's next Amazon Special in India. The Android smartphone bears a striking resemblance to a flagship iPhone in its new teasers, thanks to a suspiciously familiar camera hump design housing a 50MP main shooter. The N53 also boasts a new "California Sunshine" design with slim edges and a 5,000mAh battery thus far.

The Vietnamese auto company VinFast has announced that all stock of its new VF8 all-electric SUV for sale in the US has now landed in its new market. They come in 2 Eco and Plus SKUs, rated for up to 293 miles of (WLTP) range per charge and 402 horsepower respectively. They will start at just under and over US$50,000 respectively, with additional leasing options.

Banana Pi has finally started selling the BPI-W3, an SBC based around the Rockchip RK3588 with 8 GB of RAM. However, the BPI-W3 has received a major redesign since last year's preview, with Banana Pi including a system-on-module and an M.2 Key M slot, among other changes.

The Orange Pi 5 Plus is the third and latest member in the Orange Pi 5 series. Equipped with a Rockchip RK3588 chipset, the Orange Pi 5 Plus also comes with up to 16 GB of RAM, plenty of ports and multiple storage methods.
