DJI ready to unleash 'flagship upgrade' with Fully Powered to Forge Ahead drone launch event announcement
DJI is continuing with its flurry of hardware releases, having unveiled the Mavic 3 Pro and Inspire 3 last month. While we are not yet halfway through 2023, DJI has also announced the Goggles Integra, the Mini 2 SE and the RS 3 Mini, as well as the Mini 3 just before Christmas 2022. Now, the company has teased another drone launch, which it will market under its Enterprise series.
Currently, the likes of @DealsDrone expect DJI to use its 'Fully Powered to Forge Ahead' launch event to showcase the Matrice 350 (M350), a successor to 2020's Matrice 300 RTK. For reference, although DJI introduced the M30 series just over a year ago, it is unlikely that either of these will be replaced any time soon. Currently, it is unclear how DJI will distinguish the drone pictured above from its other enterprise-grade drones.
However, its teaser tagline implies that the M350 could feature a longer flight time than the 55 minutes of which the M300 RTK is capable. DJI will host its Fully Powered to Forge Ahead launch event on May 18 at 13:00 UTC. Unfortunately, no specifications for the DJI M350 have surfaced yet, nor has the company offered any details about what to expect from Thursday's launch other than it concerns a 'flagship upgrade'.
