DJI Air 3: Launch pricing and hands-on photos of forthcoming drone leak online
Various leakers have discovered new details about the Air 3, a compact drone that may launch over the summer alongside the Mini 4 Pro. Contrary to earlier rumours, @JasperEllens now claims that the Air 3 could have two cameras, not three. Still, this would be an improvement over the Air 2, which makes do with a single 1/2-inch and 48 MP camera.
According to @Quadro_News, DJI will offer the Air 3 with RC-N2 and RC 2 controllers for €1,127.50 and €1,294.65, respectively, in Fly More Combo packages. Please note that these are likely third-party retailer prices; @Quadro_News has not provided sources for the images embedded below, though. As Drone-Zone notes, the Air 3 with an RC 2 controller would be about the same price as the Air 2S Fly More Combo.
DJI has not teased the release of the Air 3 yet, effectively ruling out a rumoured June launch. There are plenty of other unknowns about the Air 3 too, and how DJI will distinguish it from the Air 2 or Air 2S. Presumably, more information will surface online within the next few weeks before DJI outlines an Air 3 launch event.
