DJI Goggles Integra: New FPV goggles launched with Micro-OLED panels and RC Motion 2 remote control
DJI has introduced new FPV goggles for the DJI Avata, dubbed the Goggles Integra. Surprisingly, the new accessory is significantly cheaper than the Goggles 2. While a lower price would suggest fewer features, DJI equips the Goggles Integra with Micro-OLED panels that operate at 100 Hz, 700 nits and 1080p. For reference, DJI builds the battery into the headband, which results in a cable-free experience when flying.
According to DJI, the Goggles Integra weighs 410 g, making it approximately 120 g heavier than the Goggles 2. However, DJI claims that several design adjustments should make the Goggles Integra more comfortable to wear the Goggles Integra. Additionally, DJI has included OcuSync 3 Plus for live streaming from up to 12 km away from the Avata. DJI claims that the Goggles Integra should last up to 2 hours between charges, although they have a narrower 44-degree field of view than the Goggles 2, which output at 51 degrees.
Moreover, DJI has omitted the Wi-Fi module from the Goggles 2. Hence, the Goggles Integra is unsuitable if you want to stream wirelessly from a smartphone. Separately, DJI has released the RC Motion 2, a new remote control that should provide more freedom when flying thanks to a new joystick and trigger. The DJI Goggles Integra is orderable now for €659 in the Eurozone and US$499 in the US. In comparison, DJI sells the RC Motion 2 for €179 and US$239, respectively. Also, the pair can be picked with the Avata as a bundle called the Pro-View Combo for €1,459 in the Eurozone and US$1,429 in the US. Please see DJI's website for more details.
