DJI teases Inspire 3 drone with Inspiration Arrives launch event confirmation
DJI has finally announced the launch date for the Inspire 3, almost a year after initial details leaked online. As always, DJI has not confirmed what device it is preparing to release. However, the company's promotional material makes it clear that the drone concerned is an Inspire 2 successor, which debuted in November 2016.
DJI's teaser website makes it even clearer what it has up its sleeve, which it describes as the continued legacy of the Inspire 2. Accordingly, it has dubbed its April 13 launch event as when inspiration will arrive. It remains to be seen whether the Inspire 3 will go on sale the same day, but that is often the case with DJI product releases.
Meanwhile, @DealsDrone has shared new photos of the Inspire 3. Previously, leakers have only obtained photos of prototype models. Presumably, these new photos are of retail models though, considering the proximity to the Inspire 3's release. DJI is expected to make numerous changes for its third-generation Inspire drone, including 8K video recording capabilities via a Zenmuse X9 full-frame camera. Pricing and full changes from the Inspire 2 remain unknown for the time being, though.
