Garmin brings changes to Fenix 6, Enduro, Tactix Delta, Quatix 6 and Marq series smartwatches with Beta Version 25.78
Garmin has rolled out another beta build to Fenix 6, Enduro, Tactix Delta, Quatix 6 and Marq smartwatches, roughly a week after releasing Beta Version 25.77. Now, the company has issued Beta Version 25.78, which makes a few changes from its predecessor. As its name suggests, Beta Version 25.78 offers minor changes over versions 25.76 and 25.77.
Still, Beta Version 25.78 contains useful bug fixes and a new feature compared to Beta Version 25.77. Specifically, Garmin has added the ability to rate Connect IQ applications within the app settings menu. Previously, this was only possible through the Connect IQ storefront. Also, Garmin claims to have bundled the following fixes:
- Fixed possible issues with inaccurate altimeter data on recorded activities.
- Fixed an issue with gender not defaulting to female on "S" sized devices.
- Fixed an issue where the timer data on the Ski activity was incorrectly formatted.
- Fixed missing vibration on Obstacle Course Racing splits.
Typically, Garmin issues new beta builds through its Garmin Connect Mobile (GCM) service. However, this is not the case with Beta Version 25.78. Instead, Garmin is asking people to install the new beta build manually; it remains unclear when it will resort to automatic beta build downloads. Accordingly, the company has provided download links on its forum post, as well as installation instructions, should you need them.
