A Peloton Watch App for Samsung Galaxy Watch5 and Watch4 smartwatches is rolling out. The app lets you connect your wearable to Peloton equipment, viewing your heart rate on a bigger screen. You can also use the app to view data such as your Strive Score on your smartwatch.

Samsung has announced that it has begun to roll out the Peloton Watch App for Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch4 smartwatches. Owners of the Samsung Galaxy smartwatches can use the app to connect to various Peloton products like Bike, Bike+, Tread, Row and Guide. You can then view your heart rate in real-time on the connected Peloton device’s screen or your wearable.

You can also view information about your Peloton workout on the Galaxy smartwatch models. For example, you can view your Strive Score on the watch at the end of your training. This metric measures the amount of time you spend in various heart rate zones to help you to track your effort. You can pair a Peloton device to your Galaxy Watch with an automatic “Connect” prompt, triggered after you select a workout and open the wearable app.

It is worth noting that the Peloton App must also be installed on your paired smartphone. Smartwatch owners can download the Peloton Watch App via the Peloton smartphone app by going to the Profile > Add-ons section and selecting “Wear OS”. Samsung has confirmed that the app is available on all Galaxy Watch models that use Wear OS 3. It is unclear when the app rollout will be complete.
