Mavic 3 Pro: DJI confirms Inspiration in Focus launch event as new leaks surface online
The release of the Mavic 3 Pro is almost upon us after numerous leaks. Surprisingly, DJI is preparing to release its latest Mavic 3 model less than two weeks after introducing another drone, the Inspire 3. While DJI has designed the Inspire 3 for commercial use, the Mavic 3 Pro will be a prosumer device that builds on the Mavic 3 with a second telephoto camera.
As the company's teaser image below shows, it will introduce a new drone on April 25 during an 'Inspiration in Focus' launch event. Although DJI does not name the drone in question, its design matches various Mavic 3 Pro leaks. According to Igor Bogdanov, the Mavic 3 Pro's third camera will deliver 3x optical zoom with a 70 mm equivalent focal length and 4K/60 Hz video support.
Moreover, the Mavic 3 Pro is expected to feature a 1 TB SSD and ProRes integration. More packaging and hands-on photos of the Mavic 3 Pro have leaked too, which we have embedded below. Unfortunately, pricing has not surfaced yet, although we would not be surprised if DJI pitched the drone for over US$2,000 without a DJI RC remote controller.
