It appears that DJI is on the verge of releasing two new drones in quick succession. Yesterday, the company teased the launch of the Inspire 3, a professional drone that will replace the ageing Inspire 2. For context, while DJI tends to replace its consumer-grade drones every few years, it has been selling the Inspire 2 since the end of 2016. DJI has not revealed many details about the Inspire 3 yet, but it has confirmed a launch date and has shared a teaser image.
Additionally, several leakers have discovered photos of the Mavic 3 Pro, which we have embedded below. DJI kicked off the Mavic 3 series in late 2021 with the Mavic 3 and the Mavic 3 Cine. Subsequently, the company released the Mavic 3E and the Mavic 3T under the Mavic 3 Enterprise series, followed by the Mavic 3 Classic. Most recently, DJI introduced the Mavic 3M, which added multispectral sensors and more cameras to the Mavic 3 recipe.
Now, it seems that DJI is readying the Mavic 3 Pro. Many details remain unknown for now, such as pricing and availability. However, leaked photos reveal that the Mavic 3 Pro has a third camera for 3x optical zoom with a 70-75 mm equivalent focal length. Moreover, DJI will offer the Mavic 3 Pro as part of a Fly More Combo, which will bundle an RC Pro remote controller and several accessories. It is unclear what other changes DJI has made to distinguish the Mavic 3 Pro from the regular Mavic 3 though, whether that be improved flight times and image stabilisation.
