DJI Mini 3: Prices, more specifications and release date leak for sub-250 g drone
It is a matter of time before DJI announces the Mini 3, or the date of its hardware launch event at the very least. Not only have more promotional images leaked online, but so have prices for the Eurozone and the US. According to @ShanScordamag1, a Best Buy in New Jersey is already selling the Mini 3 Fly More Combo, which ships with the DJI RC remote controller, among other accessories.
As the embedded image below highlights, Best Buy has priced the Mini 3 Fly More Combo at US$859.99. In comparison, DJI charges US$909 for the Mini 3 Pro and the DJI RC remote controller. However, the Fly More combo adds a custom carry case, spare batteries and replacement propellers, which the Mini 3 Pro and DJI RC bundle lacks. Incidentally, the Fly More Combo pricing may not necessarily reflect the Mini 3’s MSRP.
Instead, @_snooppytech_ alleges that the Mini 3 will arrive for between €400 and €500 in the Eurozone, putting it closer in price to the Mini 2 than the Mini 3 Pro. Based on other leaked promotional images, the Mini 3 will be available in a cheaper bundle too that eschews the DJI RC for the cheaper DJI RC-N1. DJI is expected to announce the Mini 3 on December 9, although the company has not started teasing the drone yet. Typically, DJI starts accepting pre-orders the day of launch but sets a few week's lead time on initial shipments.
