Last week, DJI started teasing its next drone release. Inescapably the Mavic 3 Classic, which has already leaked extensively, the company outlined that its next hardware launch event would occur on November 2. Now, Jasper Ellens has shared European pricing details for the upcoming drone.
Specifically, Ellens alleges that the Mavic 3 Classic will start at €1,499, but only on its own. As always, DJI will sell the drone in several bundles that cost a bit more than the drone itself. On the one hand, there will be an RC controller bundle, the price of which DJI has allegedly set at €1,599. Presumably, Ellens is referring to the RC-N1, a €45 accessory that lacks a built-in display. Instead, you must use a paired smartphone or a tablet.
On the other hand, Ellens adds that DJI will offer the Mavic 3 Classic with the DJI RC remote controller for €1,749. Surprisingly, details about a Fly More package have not emerged. In saying that, the leaker claims that DJI will sell an ND filter set (8/16/32/64) separately for €120. In short, the Mavic 3 Classic promises to be a cheaper alternative to the Mavic 3 owing to its missing telephoto camera. As we have discussed previously, the Mavic 3 Classic should carry over almost all other Mavic 3-series features, including its battery life and flight times.
