DJI teases Rise to the Call launch event for Mavic 3 Enterprise series drones
DJI is having a busy few weeks, having already presented the Avata FPV drone and the Osmo Action 3 action camera. As we have reported separately, the company is also on the verge of introducing new smartphone gimbals. However, DJI is not stopping there. As the teaser below confirms, DJI has scheduled a 'Rise to the Call' hardware event for September 27 in which it will reveal a new drone.
Due to arrive at 09:00 EDT (13:00 UTC), the drone will be an enterprise-level model, unlike the recent Mini 3 Pro and the Avata. Purportedly, DJI will use the event to reveal the Mavic 3 Enterprise series, not the long-rumoured Inspire 3. Undoubtedly, the drone shown in the teaser image resembles the consumer-focused Mavic 3, albeit with a few differences. Specifically, there appears to be a connector on the drone's top for adding extension modules, as well as a different camera unit.
Based on earlier leaks, DJI will unveil the Mavic 3 Enterprise series with three cameras, consisting of primary, 7x zoom and thermal imaging sensors. Rumoured as the DJI Mavic 3 Thermal (M3T), DJI is expected to announce the Mavic 3 Enterprise (M3E) too, which the company may have actually included in the teaser image's reflection. Pricing has not leaked yet, although we imagine that both drones will cost more than the current Mavic 3 series.
