DJI Air 3: Full specifications and US pricing leaks for Air 2 and Air 2S successor
Leakers @JasperEllens and @Quadro_News have revealed countless details about the Air 3, DJI's next drone. Previously, the pair have shared hands-on photos of the forthcoming drone, as has @DealsDrone. Also, Roland Quandt leaked numerous official photos, along with UK launch prices.
Now, @JasperEllens and @Quadro_News have published full technical data for the Air 2 and Air 2S successor. Embedded below, the Air 3 will weigh 720 g, making it a C1-compatible drone under the EU's drone regulations. The specification sheet below mentions 21 m/s maximum horizontal speed though, 2 m/s higher than the C1 category allows. Thus, we expect DJI to release EU-specific firmware that limits the Air 3's top speed.

Additionally, the Air 3 has a 20 km range for transmitting 1080p/60 FPS videos via DJI O4 technology. Again, this could be restricted within the EU. Moreover, the Air 3 is quoted as delivering 46 minutes of flight time on a regular battery, 1 minute shy of the Mini 3 Pro with its Intelligent Flight Battery Plus. The Air 3 also features a pair of 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensors, which will serve as its primary and telephoto cameras.
The Air 3 is rumoured to start at £962 in the UK. In comparison, @Quadro_News has outlined that Fly More Combo packages will begin at US$1,394 in the US with the RC-N2 remote controller. Alternatively, DJI will offer the drone with the RC 2 remote controller for US$1,594. With full specifications about the Air 3 now known, all that is left for DJI is to reveal a launch date. Seemingly, this remains a mystery for now, despite the volume of recent Air 3-related leaks.
