Leaker Igor Bogdanov has shared new footage of the Mini 4 Pro, just over a week on from an earlier sighting of the forthcoming drone. This time, Bogdanov, who tweets as @Quadro_News, has published two test flight videos of the Mini 4 Pro, embedded below. Somehow, someone managed to capture footage nearby to a DJI test site, a surprisingly common occurrence when it comes to unreleased DJI drones.
At any rate, it appears that DJI is testing the Mini 4 Pro alongside a forthcoming enterprise drone. While the latter's release name is unknown for now, it maintains the camera design of the Mavic 3T, another enterprise drone that DJI introduced last September with a thermal imaging camera. Unfortunately, even fewer details about the Mini 4 Pro have leaked so far, other than the footage embedded below.
Presumably, the Mini 4 Pro will weigh less than 250 g, a weight limit that has fewer flight restrictions and operator requirements than heavier drones in most markets. Based on the videos below, DJI has equipped its next 'Mini' branded drone with improved obstacle detection, which may now work from side on. A release date remains a mystery though, as does pricing. However, the fact that DJI is already testing Mini 4 Pro prototypes implies that an autumn or winter 2023 launch could be on the cards.
