DJI Mini 4 Pro: New drone pictured in short test flight before release
It appears that DJI is preparing to replace the Mini 3 series, which it kicked off in May 2022 with the Mini 3 Pro. A few months later the company introduced the Mini 3, another sub-249 g drone. Subsequently, DJI has released various other drones, most recently the Air 3.
To recap, Jasper Ellens leaked a Mini 4 Pro prototype in June. A few days ago, @Quadro_News shared another apparent photo of the Mini 4 Pro. Unfortunately, it looks like the earlier image was mirrored and had most of its background removed. While that may have come to nothing, the same leaker then shared a video of a short Mini 4 Pro test flight, which they posted on Twitter.
Moreover, @Quadro_News also provided another Mini 4 Pro-related leak, this time from the DJI Fly app. As the image below shows, a portion of the app contains references to the unreleased drone as early as the middle of July. Thus, it seems that DJI is putting the finishing touches to the Mini 4 Pro, with the drone's design and name already locked in. A release date has not surfaced yet, but we imagine that more details will leak online before DJI announces a Mini 4 Pro-themed launch event.
