The BenQ LH820ST Golf Simulator Projector has arrived. The model has a Golf mode to enhance the colors for an immersive experience and can be ceiling mounted to optimize space. The otherwise typical laser short throw projector has a native 1080p resolution and up to 3,600 lumens brightness.

BenQ has released the LH820ST, the latest model in its line-up of Golf Simulator projectors. The short throw projector has a native 1080p resolution and 16:9 resolution, which can be adjusted. A laser light source produces up to 3,600 lumens brightness and has an expected lifetime of 20,000 hours. You can use the device to produce images up to 177-in (~450 cm) wide from a distance of 7.0 ft (~2.1 m), thanks to the 0.497 throw ratio.

You can perfect the picture using digital shrinking, 2D keystone correction, Corner Fit and Screen Fill tools. The LH820ST covers 90% of the Rec.709 color gamut and has a Golf Mode, enhancing the green and blue colors and making the experience as immersive as possible. You can also use the projector to watch movies or play games, connecting gadgets like consoles to the device via two HDMI 1.4b ports.

The projector measures 410 x 157.7 x 272 mm (~16.1 x 6.2 x 10.7-in), weighs 5.6 kg (~12.3 lbs) and can be mounted on the ceiling. You can now buy the BenQ LH820ST Laser Projector in the US, the UK and the EU for US$1,899/£2,179.55/€2,401.95. The company claims it is the first golf sim laser projector to retail for under US$2,000.
