Bose QuietComfort and QuietComfort Ultra to launch next month as new high-end Bluetooth headphones
Various sources have leaked new information about the Bose QuietComfort Ultra, the over-ear counterpart to the QuietComfort Ultra earbuds that the company also has planned. For context, Kamila Wojciechowska first detailed the former in February. At the time, the leaker shared a solitary official render with no specifications, pricing or availability offered.
According to @billbil_kun, Bose plans to offer two new pairs of QuietComfort headphones, with the Ultra the more expensive and premium of the two. Purportedly, €100 will separate the regular QuietComfort from the QuietComfort Ultra, with prices set at €399.95 and €499.95 in the Eurozone, respectively. Based on the specifications revealed so far, Bose will distinguish the pair with Immersive Audio technology for the QuietComfort Ultra, which integrates spatial audio.

Additionally, the QuietComfort Ultra will CustomTune, a technology that adapts audio performance based on your ear shape. Moreover, both pairs of headphones will deliver up to 24 hours of battery life, although this drops to 18 hours for the QuietComfort Ultra with Immersive Audio mode enabled. While those battery life figures are relatively unimpressive, a 15-minute charge is said to yield 2:30 hours of playback or 2 hours with Immersive Audio active.
@billbil_kun adds that the company will sell the former in Black, Green Cypress and White Cloud colour options, none of which have leaked so far. In comparison, the QuietComfort Ultra will be available in Black and Cloud White finishes, which @OnLeaks and MySmartPrice have showcased in their latest leak. Reportedly, Bose will present the QuietComfort and QuietComfort Ultra on September 26. The same applies to the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds, which we have covered separately.
