Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds: Pricing, specifications and release date leak for new premium earbuds
It appears that Bose is putting the finishing touches to the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds, a smaller alternative to the QuietComfort and QuietComfort Ultra headphones. As such, the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds will provide a scaled-back experience in some areas, such as battery life. Reportedly, the earbuds will last up to 6 hours of battery life between charges or 4 hours with Immersive Audio enabled. Additionally, the earbuds' bundled charging case should deliver three further full charges before both need topping up, yielding a total runtime of approximately 24 hours.
Unsurprisingly, Bose will include active noise cancelling (ANC) technology, aided by nine pairs of soft silicone ear tips and support bands. Moreover, Bose's new earbuds will offer Aware, Silent and Immersion listening modes, as well as CustomTune technology for a customised listening experience. Reportedly, the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds will also support Google Fast Pair and Snapdragon Sound certification, with the latter designed to optimise the listening experience on Android devices.
Meanwhile, @OnLeaks and MySmartPrice have shared high-resolution marketing images of the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds in two colour options, which are rumoured to be sold as Black and Cloud White. Allegedly, Bose plans to release all new QuietComfort products simultaneously, with a September 26 launch date mooted by @billbil_kun. According to the same leaker, Bose will charge €349.95 for its new earbuds, which would make the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds some of the most expensive TWS earbuds around.
