Capable of running 25 W higher than last year's model, the updated Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 is built around the Intel Core i9-13900H processor and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 laptop GPU. It features a 16-inch QHD Mini-LED Nebula HDR display and is the first device of its size to use the ROG AniMe Matrix LED lighting array.

ASUS has introduced the ROG Zephyrus G14 (2023), an AMD Zen 4 and RTX 40 series upgrade for the company's 14-inch gaming laptop. Offered with a choice of three displays, the new ROG Zephyrus G14 also has plenty of ports and up to 32 GB of DDR5 RAM, among other features.

ASUS has showcased the ROG Flow X13 (2023), a 13.4-inch convertible that offers new AMD and NVIDIA hardware. Available later this quarter in Europe, the latest ROG Flow X13 comes with up to an AMD Ryzen 9 Zen 4 APU, an RTX 4070 GPU and a choice of two displays, among other features.

Dell has launched the Alienware x16 at CES 2023 with Intel Raptor Lake-H and Nvidia RTX 40 Laptop GPU options up to the RTX 4090. The Alienware x16 embodies the new Legend 3.0 design language and features Dolby Vision displays, an optional CherryMX mechanical keyboard, and vapor chamber cooling for the high-end SKUs with RTX 4080 and RTX 4090.

Nvidia has announced the mobile versions of its Ada Lovelace-based RTX 4000 graphics cards. The GeForce RTX 4070, RTX 4060 and RTX 4050 will supposedly deliver GeForce RTX 3080-class performance while consuming a third of the power. Gaming laptops featuring the GPUs will be available starting February 22 at US$999.

Alienware x14 R2 has landed on the gaming notebook scene with the 13th gen Raptor Lake mobile CPUs and up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 graphics. The laptop retains the aesthetic Alienware’s x-series notebooks are known for while packing an improved display. Additionally, the machine features the Alienware X series 1-Zone keyboard with AlienFX per-key RGB.

Dell is re-introducing the 18-inch form factor with the Alienware m18. The Alienware m18 comes in both Intel/Nvidia and all-AMD options while offering a choice between QHD+ 165 Hz and FHD 480 Hz displays. Buyers can also configure the Alienware m18 with a CherryMX keyboard and up to 9 TB of quad-storage configurations.

Gigabyte has announced two new high-end gaming laptops, the Aorus 17X and Aorus 15X. Both feature 240 Hz QHD screens, a 13th-generation Intel Alder Lake processor, up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 and a 99 Wh battery.

Dell has revealed the UltraSharp U3224KB 32-inch IPS monitor with a 6K resolution. With an integrated webcam and two speakers, Dell is marketing the display to professionals who need a quality screen for work and video conferencing. The monitor also has plenty of ports in both the front and the back providing robust connectivity options.

Intel has officially unveiled the 65 and 35 W Raptor Lake desktop SKUs. The lineup includes the Core i9, Core i7, Core i5, and Core i3 processors with and without integrated GPUs. Among the announced chips, the Core i9-13900 is the most expensive at US$549, while the Core i3-13100F is the cheapest at US$109.

Intel has updated its low-power CPU lineup with a host of new CPUs. The P series is spearheaded by the Intel Core i7-1370P and the U series by the Intel Core i7-1365U. The former has a TDP of 28 Watts and the latter 15 Watts and both use a hybrid design with performance and efficiency cores.

Intel officially unveiled the Raptor Lake-HX and Raptor Lake-H mobile CPU lineup at CES 2023. Led by the Core i9-13980HX, Raptor Lake-HX promises significant gains in multi-core performance compared to corresponding Alder Lake-HX and the Ryzen 6900HX. Intel is also introducing its Movidius VPU as part of select Raptor Lake-H offerings for accelerating AI tasks at the edge.

It starts at around US$100, albeit for lackluster specs, the best of which are a large battery, a 3.5mm jack and a 50MP main rear camera, and the worst of which one would not think would even have a place in 2023.

Apple has unveiled a new limited edition of the second-generation AirPods Pro in China, themed after the transition from the Year of the Tiger (2022) to that of the Rabbit (2023). The TWS earbuds' case come with an appropriately-themed engraving, which is also picked out on their retail box. They are available on the OEM's Store from now.

Ulefone describes its next upcoming IP68/IP69K/MIL-STD-810H-rated Android smartphone as a "5G mobile photography flagship", thanks to its 108MP main camera in addition to a 120Hz FHD+ display and a large 9,600mAh battery. The e-vehicle start-up Davinci Motor has announced that it is coming to CES 2023 with its upcoming motorcycle. The DC100 is touted to rival traditional 1,000cc machines with its specs, not to mention its "futuristic" design. Davinci also backs it to achieve an appreciable range, replenished with fast DC charging.

LG has announced that it will unveil its new 2023 range of TVs during its CES 2023 exhibition. However, it has revealed that it has prepared new soundbars as the "perfect match" for these upcoming big-screen devices. Their combination is touted to result in powerful new features such as a WOW Orchestra soundstage.

iQOO has made its last new smartphone of the year official today (December 29, 2022). The Neo7 Racing Edition adds the high-end ISOCELL GN5 sensor to its series, as well as the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 (8+ Gen 1) processor. It is touted as "light", yet "performance-focused", with a well-worn mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. Then again, it has some specs in common with the new higher-end K60.

The RedMagic 8 Pro series is now official as the most "evolved" form of its premium Android mobile line to date. The brand asserts that the 2 new smartphones go beyond their traditional e-sports heritage with a more streamlined, "futuristic" design and rear cameras that may be taken seriously for once. Then again, the 8 Pro Plus (or Pro+) goes back to its roots somewhat with SKUs that combine its OEM's fastest charging tech and an RGB-lit active fan to help keep its new top-end processor cool.

With all the talk about AAA titles like Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Sonic Frontiers, it's easy to miss some of the smaller releases that happen on Steam. There were a number of excellent titles from a range of genres that came out towards the middle of December 2022.

The Zero Ultra has launched compatible with Infinix' fastest power brick to date, not to mention a 200MP main rear camera. Now, the OEM has announced that the new Android smartphone is bringing its ThunderCharge technology with it to India. It will be made available at a "special launch price" via Flipkart later in December 2022.

Oukitel's latest rugged tablet has launched just in time for end-of-year celebrations. It has emerged as an even more portable version of its RT1 predecessor, although it debuts with more up-to-date software out of the box. It is now available with a sizeable discount off its listed retail price for a limited time.

Samsung has started selling the Dragon Knight G7 in China, where the device is available for CNY 4,999 (~US$717). Sharing design cues with Samsung's Odyssey gaming monitor series, the Dragon Knight G7 contains a 32-inch IPS panel that outputs at 4K, 144 Hz, 400 nits and supports modern image tearing reduction standards, among other features.

LILYGO has introduced the T-Camera S3, a developer board with a built-in camera. Based on the ESP32-S3FN16R8 microcontroller, the LILYGO T-Camera S3 has a small OLED display and is available with a small plastic housing, among other features.

Banana Pi is now selling the BPI-M2S, a single-board computer that it teased over a year ago. The Banana Pi BPI-M2S is available with a choice of two Amlogic SoCs, both with 4 GB of RAM and an HDMI 2.1 port, plus expansion options.

The Robo & Kala is a Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3-based 2-in-1 with an AMOLED display. Running Windows 11, the Robo & Kala also contains a magnetic keyboard that you can use via Bluetooth or a physical connection. The Robo & Kala starts at US$799 with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.

Bose has revealed that it is now an audio partner for Volvo in-car systems, starting with the new EX90. The new all-electric vehicle thus comes with a branded multi-speaker array optimized for its sports utility vehicle (SUV) design. It is rated to create a surround-sound effect that serves each seat with "accurate" bass and noise-dampening technology.

Most new ultrabooks may have sacrificed some ports in order to get to CES 2023 as thin and light as possible. The new 500 USB Type-C Universal Dock can augment those PCs to USB ports aplenty, dual 10 gigabit per second (Gb/s) type-Cs included. Lenovo thus touts the new accessory as a perfect companion to one of its new IdeaPad laptops.

Lenovo has launched two new high-end mini-LED monitors, the ThinkVision P32pz-30 and P27pz-30. Both support 10-bit colours and cover 98% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. They can be purchased in August 2023 starting at US$1,699.

Lenovo's latest consumer-grade IdeaCentre is a PC of no more than one liter (L) in capacity, yet packs specs also found in larger up-to-date desktops, Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.1 included. It has also come to CES 2023 with 13th-gen Intel processors. With its partially-recycled chassis and upgradeable RAM/SSD storage, it also checks sustainability boxes.

Lenovo has introduced a new and smaller version of its IdeaPad Flex 3i Chromebook as part of its CES 2023 showcase. Its 16:10 FHD IPS display is rated to stay on for up to 12 hours, thanks to its low-power OS and new Intel N-series platforms. The 2-in-1 is thus touted for easy transitions between the home office and working on the go.

The Lenovo Tab M9 is now official with a 9-inch screen, 5,100 mAh battery, MediaTek Helio G80, and an 8 MP rear camera. It goes on sale in February 2023 for 159 EUR (US$169).

Lenovo has refreshed its IdeaPad Pro offerings with the IdeaPad Pro 5i 14 and IdeaPad Pro 5i 16. These models now feature Intel Raptor Lake-H CPUs and discrete graphics options up to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU (16-inch variant). The new IdeaPad Pro 5i series comes with larger touchpads, FHD IR webcams with ToF sensors, and high-resolution 120 Hz display options.

Lenovo is introducing new IdeaPad Pro 5 laptops in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 7000HS APUs. The other specifications are largely similar to their Raptor Lake-H-powered counterparts, but here only the IdeaPad Pro 5 16 gets dGPU options up to the Nvidia RTX 4050 Laptop GPU.

With its first new ThinkPad announcement for the year 2023, Lenovo is bringing incremental updates of the flagship X1 series to the market. X1 Nano Gen 3, X1 Yoga Gen 8 and X1 Carbon Gen 11 continue to use the design of last year's models.

Skyworth has announced that the Clarus will be the first TV of the type that can be installed outdoors with Google's stock UI on its launch. It is also touted as ideal for its target setting thanks to its bright mini-LED-based display and ingress-resistant metallic housing. The upcoming outdoor TV should become available to pre-order in 2023.

SB Components has released the LapPi 2.0, a DIY laptop kit that is available to back on Kickstarter. Based on the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B, the LapPi 2.0 is also compatible with other single-board computers and starts at £199.

The GPD Win 4 is now available to back via Indiegogo. Not only is the GPD Win 4 smaller than the ONEXPLAYER 2, but it is also US$100 cheaper while maintaining the Ryzen 7 6800U, Radeon 680M, 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. GPD offers the Win 4 with an optional LTE module too, as well as up to 2 TB of storage and 32 GB of RAM.

One-netbook has started selling the ONEXPLAYER 2 through Indiegogo. Initially available for US$899, the ONEXPLAYER 2 combines AMD's most powerful RDNA 2 iGPU with detachable controllers, an 8.4-inch display and a large battery, among other features.

The Nubia Z50 has landed on the Chinese Android flagship smartphone market with the Motorola Moto X40 right in its crosshairs, as it starts for less at the same amount RAM and internal storage paired to the latest and highest-end Qualcomm SoC. The Z50 also boasts a second-gen "custom" 35mm equivalent lens for its main rear camera, touted to outdo competitors with their fancy 1-inch sensors.

Samsung has introduced the Galaxy 25W Battery Pack, a new power bank that supports Super Fast Charging and can recharge two devices simultaneously via USB Type-C. Offered with a 10,000 mAh capacity, the Galaxy 25W Battery Pack features a plastic design and weighs just over 200 g.

Tecno has laid claim to the launch of the first ever Android smartphone with a rear-mounted lens capable of extending and retracting like that, as the OEM notes, of a "real" camera. The Phantom X2 Pro is also presented as a premium device otherwise, with a flagship-grade 5G SoC, a large AMOLED display as part of a "dual-curved" design and 12GB of RAM.
