New Huawei SuperCharge Magnetic Mobile Power Bank arrives
Huawei has launched the SuperCharge Magnetic Mobile Power Bank in China. The accessory provides wireless charging for various devices, such as the Huawei Mate 60 series and Pura 70 series smartphones.
Huawei describes the SuperCharge Magnetic Mobile Power Bank as offering three charging modes. You can charge wirelessly via the 15W charging pad on the go or use the accessory as a wireless charging dock by plugging it into the wall, increasing the output to 30W; this second option ensures both your phone and the power bank charge simultaneously. The third option is to use the USB-C port on the side of the device with a 25W output and support for fast charging protocols such as SCP, UFCS and PD. On top of this, there is a range of safety features, such as protection against overheating and overvoltage.
The accessory is thin at 11.26 mm (~0.44 inches) and lightweight at 141g (~5 oz), making it easy to carry around, and it comes with a 25 cm (~9.8 inch) USB-C to USB-C cable. Plus, the power bank has a foldable stand, allowing you to watch something on your phone as it charges. In China, you can now buy the Huawei SuperCharge Magnetic Mobile Power Bank for 369 yuan (~$50). The company has yet to announce plans to bring the accessory to other markets like Europe, where you can buy the Huawei SuperCharge 40W Charger.
