Samsung announces new 64 MP image sensor for mobile devices

Samsung introduced two new smartphone image sensors today. Dubbed the GW1 and GM2, the sensors can produce images up to 64 and 48 MP, respectively, thanks to incredibly small pixels. Both sensors feature 0.8 μm pixels, which are currently the smallest on the market. The sensors can be expected to shine in phones in the latter half of 2019.

An entry for an Intel Xeon W-3275 processor has been discovered on Geekbench that shows a pretty remarkable result at least in the multi-core benchmark. While the single-core score for the CPU was still decent at 5,211 points, the multi-score recorded was a huge 39,869 points. The codename used in the record was Skylake-W.

Build 2019 | Microsoft unveils Windows Terminal, a new unified command line app for Windows 10

At the Build 2019 developer conference that kicked off today, Microsoft announced that it will soon introduce a Windows Terminal app that consolidates all command line interfaces including PowerShell, Command Prompt, and WSL into a single interface that supports tabbed views, GPU acceleration, and emojis. The company also announced that WSL 2 will also be made available later this year that will bring improved filesystem I/O, faster Linux startup, and native Docker container support.
