Xiaomi Amazfit Ares rugged smartwatch unboxed in real-life photos - 70 sport modes and 14-day battery life for 499 yuan (US$70)

Xiaomi and Huami have announced the Amazfit Ares smartwatch, and it has already been fully revealed in a serious of real-life unboxed photos. The rugged-looking wearable has a 1.28-inch color touchscreen and weighs just 48 g. The price tag for the Amazfit Ares on the Chinese market is 499 yuan (US$70), with sales scheduled to start on June 1.

"Premium" Google Pixel 5 powered by Snapdragon 765G could be priced at US$699: Is Google shooting itself in the foot or is the pricing just about right?

The upcoming Google Pixel 4a and Pixel 5 could be priced at US$349 and US$699, respectively as indicated by a recent Google Opinion Rewards survey. While the Pixel 4a pricing makes it a good alternative to the iPhone SE 2020, it remains to be seen if the "Premium" Google Pixel 5 can withstand the continued onslaught of Android flagship killers or even the upcoming iPhone 12.
