@unc0verTeam recently announced that a working, universal iOS 13.5 jailbreak will be arriving soon. The jailbreak is compatible with Windows, meaning iPhone and iPad users won't need to use a Mac to jailbreak their devices, as with Checkra1n.

Shortly after Apple released the iOS 13.5 update for iPad and iPhone, the unc0ver jailbreak team announced that they are very close to releasing a universal iOS 13.5 jailbreak that works on all updated iOS devices.

And, unlike Checkra1n, unc0vered's jailbreak will work natively on Windows PCs, meaning you don't need a Mac to jailbreak your iPhone or iPad.

The new unc0vered jailbreak is based on a 0day identified by @Pwn20wnd. In cybersecurity parlance, a 0day is a hardware or software vulnerability that is only spotted after the product ships.

unc0vered announced on Twitter that they'll be releasing the new semi-tethered iOS 13.5 jailbreak in sponsorship with Phone Rebel, an iPhone case maker.

While unC0vered's upcoming jailbreak is a major step forward, it's important to remember that this is still a semi-tethered jailbreak.

This means that your iPhone or iPad will revert to stock if you reboot it. Fortunately, the long battery life on the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max means that reboots or power off situations will be rare.
