30 years of the ThinkPad. OLED is no longer new technology, but its introduction in laptops has been delayed. This is especially true of the more conservative notebooks for business customers, such as the ThinkPad series. The 30th Anniversary Edition of the X1 Carbon G10 is a special model that comes with OLED.

Core i5-1235U showcases its potential The latest ThinkPad T14s G3 has finally received a 16:10 display, a surprisingly powerful Intel Alder Lake-U CPU and faster LPDDR5 RAM as part of a redesign by Lenovo. Furthermore, the 14-inch business-oriented ThinkPad showed modest power consumption and very low emissions during our testing. In this review, we’ll discuss whether all these qualities are enough for the ThinkPad T14s G3 to prevail against AMD-based laptops or Lenovo’s own ThinkPad X1 Carbon G10.

Intel Core i7-1280P or AMD Ryzen 9? Unlike most other business subnotebooks, the EliteBook 840/845 G9 comes with Intel vPro and AMD PRO options to appeal to fans on both sides of the fence. After recently reviewing the upper-end Ryzen 9 PRO 6950HS AMD SKU, we can finally now compare it the upper-end Intel Core i7-1280P option.

The most powerful Zenbook is the Pro 16X with an Intel Core i9-12900H and a Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060. Supplemented by 4K OLED, a touchscreen and stylus input as well as an Asus Dial, the notebook is aimed at demanding users from the creative industry. But it can also double as a slim gamer or workstation.

Efficient flexibility. With simple equipment but a few highlights such as Thunderbolt, a keyboard illumination, and of course a touchscreen, the IdeaPad Flex combines an office laptop with a 14-inch tablet. The fairly affordable i3 of the 12th generation impresses with its silence but is also surprisingly fast.

4K & AdobeRGB. The new ThinkPad X1 Extreme G5 implements current Alder Lake CPUs combined with liquid metal thermal paste, optional 5G compatibility as well as a high resolution 4K touchscreen with full AdobeRGB coverage. The device can even be equipped with GeForce RTX 3080 Ti - the fastest GPU around.

Energy-hungry powerhouse. With the Aorus 15 XE5, Gigabyte is bringing another 15.6-inch compact gaming notebook to the market. Amongst other things, the laptop shines with its impressive performance (in both gaming and non-gaming applications) and its ability to accommodate two PCIe 4.0 SSDs.

Slim studio laptop with decent computing power. Our review of the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Pro X can be summarized simply as follows: The subnotebook is compact and offers top-tier levels of performance. Even without OLED, it offers a very good screen that also ensures long battery runtimes.

Fast and future-proof! Intel's mobile 12th gen Alder Lake parts have made it to the NUC series. The hybrid design consisting of P and E cores is a success and provides good performance. In this review, we will explore the included features and how well the mini PC performs.

240 Hz panel and plenty of performance. Schenker’s new Vision 16 Pro is a 16-inch multimedia laptop with a weight of just 1.6 kg. This does not mean it lacks performance and the 240 Hz WQHD panel is powered by the current Alder Lake Core i7-12700H as well as the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti.

Intel HX with the brakes applied. With the new ROG Strix Scar 17 SE from 2022, Asus offers a high-end gaming laptop with the best hardware currently available on the market. In addition to the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, this also includes the Core i9-12950HX and a fast 240-Hz display.

Confidently work anywhere. If the top-of-the-line Latitude 7330 isn't good enough for you, then the top top-of the line Latitude 9330 might be up your alley. The 9330 offers a roomier 16:10 form factor, thinner profile, and even more USB-C ports for improved docking capabilities.

Legion Slim with internals from team blue and green The "Legion 7" comes in two flavours: a normal version and a slim model (with an added "Slim" in its name). Featuring a thin and understated design, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7i is aimed at consumers who may find a typical gaming laptop too flashy for their taste.

Nvidia Studio instead of GeForce. With the CreatorPro Z16P, MSI specifically targets customers who need professional graphics cards together with their drivers. Like the regular Creator Z16P with a GeForce GPU, the 16-inch device offers fast components but also has to struggle with some temperature problems.

Nvidia RTX A2000 and Alder Lake i7. For the ninth generation of its ZBook Studio mobile workstation, HP is using a larger 16-inch display in the 16:10 form factor, and the DreamColor screen now runs at 120 Hz. A Core i7-12800H and the professional Nvidia RTX A2000 provide sufficient performance.

A unibody metal case with great performance and a fantastic display - that is what the Asus Vivobook Pro 16X offers. The OLED display is Pantone validated for particularly accurate colors. Thanks to its dedicated GPU, the multimedia laptop covers a wide range of use cases ranging from gaming to professional video or photo editing.

Perhaps a bit too ambitious. The Predator Triton 300 SE joins the small but elite group of high-performance 14-inch gaming laptops consisting of the Razer Blade 14, Asus Zephyrus G14, and Alienware x14. The Acer model has its advantages, but they're not enough to stand out from the crowd.

Now with a 99-Wh battery. Considering the low weight, even the Tiger Lake Schenker Vision 14 with the GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU was a very powerful 14-inch laptop that gets a massive boost with this generation's Alder Lake Core i7-12700H upgrade. Additionally, the battery size has been increased for significantly improved runtimes.

Nvidia T550 in 14 inches. HP's ZBook Firefly 14 G9 mobile workstation wants to offer a lot of performance in a compact package. However, the result is quite disappointing especially in terms of CPU performance since Intel's Alder Lake chip is throttled heavily. Update: Massive performance improvements after system updates

Versatile. The Summit E16 Flip offers a 16-inch touchscreen display in the more office-friendly 16:10 format, Thunderbolt 4, and a dedicated GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU. The touchscreen can be operated with fingers or the included MSI input pen.

Practical or an expensive experiment? With the Zenbook 17 Fold OLED, Asus has released a foldable 17-inch convertible with modern components such as a Core i7 CPU. We explored the advantages and disadvantages the large foldable device extensively in order to determine whether it can be a serious, mobile companion.

Alder Lake-U with 12 watts. With the latest ZBook Firefly 16 G9, HP's mobile workstation is available in the 16-inch form factor for the first time and combines an Alder Lake-U processor with the dedicated T550 GPU from Nvidia. Unfortunately, the performance of both components is lacking.

90Hz WQHD display on the go. The new Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Carbon is a compact 13-inch laptop that weighs less than 1 kg thanks to its body made of carbon fibre and magnesium. Despite this, the Alder Lake-P processor manages to deliver great performance and the laptop also features a 90Hz WQHD touchscreen.

Long lasting. The TravelMate offers a Core i7 processor (Tiger Lake), 16 GB of RAM and excellent battery life. Acer has made a great decision to use a 14-inch display with a work-friendly 16:10 aspect ratio (1,920 x 1,200 pixels) and provide a three-year warranty on the device in Germany (two years in the US).

The XPS and MacBook contender. The Envy is getting bigger, but does that make it a better system? The faster performance comes at the cost of a heavier design when compared to its 15.6-inch Envy 15 predecessor.
