A large 2-in-1 with bags of stamina. With the IdeaPad Flex 5 16, Lenovo is offering a large 16-inch 2-in-1 which even includes a stylus and all for under $1,000. Internally, the AMD Ryzen 7 7730U is based on an old processor, however, despite this, performance is still competitive.

AMD has the most powerful mobile CPU. AMD's new Zen4 CPUs have finally arrived and the new flagship Ryzen 9 7945HX competes with Intel's Raptor Lake HX models. The performance of the new Zen4 cores (Dragon Range) is very good and the Ryzen 9 is also more efficient than Intel's HX CPUs.

Humble integrated graphics with a punch. Even without a dedicated GPU, the VivoBook S15 manages to deliver performance rivalling that of some entry-level gaming laptops. Powerful, quiet, and cool. The Lenovo ThinkPad T16 AMD is slightly rare among the 16-inch business laptops, since it also shows some ambitions toward being a slim workstation, with its Ryzen 6000 CPU. In this way, it is very similar to the ThinkPad P16s, and it is also not very different from it in other regards. Thanks to its WQXGA display and RDNA 2 GPU, it is also suited for simple multimedia tasks.

Better than the X1 Carbon. Lenovo refuses to offer its X1 models with AMD CPUs - perhaps there is an exclusive contract with Intel. The next best model with the AMD Ryzen 6000 is the Lenovo ThinkPad T14s G3. Even though it is positioned below the X1 Carbon in Lenovo's lineup, it is better in many ways.
