However, this 8-core, 16-thread processor that was well received by tech reviewers and the public is often regarded as what the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X should have been. 

The Amazon global rating of 4.8/5 with 90% perfect scores is accompanied by six highlighted features, namely energy efficiency (5/5), stability (4.8), gaming performance (4.6), unlocking and value (4.5 each), as well as a 4.4 for video quality (no integrated graphics, so this rating is rather surprising). The AMD Ryzen 7 5700X uses the ubiquitous AM4 socket, so finding an affordable motherboard to suit it won't be a problem. Sadly, it does not feature an integrated graphics solution and ships without a cooler.

After applying the 33% discount, the US$299 list price of the AMD Ryzen 7 5700X goes down to US$199.99. To further sweeten the deal, this processor also comes with the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection game, a title with a US$49.99 price tag. The game was released on Steam less than two months ago and 90% of the 4,292 user reviews it received so far are positive.
